AstroNerdBoy Well, I have now finished Honey and Clover (click link to read my C.A.R. review). I’ll be moving to the OVA’s and then Honey and Clover II. Since I’m a Jonny come lately to the franchise, I was surprised to learn of a live-action movie that had been created and released in theaters last summer. If you are a fan of the manga/anime, check out the video clip below:
I can’t help but wonder why the Japanese actors don’t have their proper hair color from the manga/TV series. When it comes out on DVD in Japan, I may have to check it out. However, I don’t expect much after having been disappointed with the live-action versions of Sailor Moon, Maison Ikkoku (live-action movie), and You’re Under Arrest. Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised. ^_^;
Anyway, if you have any thoughts on the trailer, feel free to post them.
Update: The DVD will be released in Japan on January 12, 2007. Further, this is a special edition DVD that will have English subtitles! Yes, you heard me right. I’m not sure why this is, but it is and so I’m going to take the risk (and expense) and buy the title from Amazon.com in Japan.
