Some Vandread Lovin’

Some Vandread Lovin’

OK, so I needed an excuse to test a change that happened to the blog, but what the hey — any image sharing is good, right? ^_~

VandreadVandread
Which reminds me, I never did get around to watching and blogging Vandread: 2nd Stage did I? Yikes! I really need more hours in my day. *lol*

    If you ask me, Vandread 2 is one of the very rare sequels that’s actually much better. (^_^)

  2. What exactly did you change about your blog? For some reason it won’t load properly on IE (it’s working fine on Firefox, though, but I prefer IE). It just keeps causing my tabs to swap automatically and then close the tab I tried to view your blog on.

    That said, do watch Vandread 2nd Stage. I thought it was great. Vandread is one of the older series in my DVD collection (I got it as it came out in 2002).

    Nothing about the blog was changed, only the RSS/Atom feeds. I just checked and IE worked fine for me. ^_^;

  4. Hm. That’s weird. It’s still giving me a fit. It keeps doing the same thing, and when I tried opening it in a page by itself, it kept automatically refreshing the page. Any suggestions, because I rarely use Firefox (I’m used to IE and its pop-up blocker is far more thorough)?

    Hmmmm. Lets go through some troubleshooting.

    (1) For starters, what version of IE are you using? (I can’t believe I met someone who prefers IE. ^_~ )

    (2) Are you coming directly to the URL or are you using a feed of some sort to view the blog?

    As I said, the blog has not changed at all. The RSS/Atom feeds were all that changed. It is working fine for me on multiple PC’s for IE (Google Chrome as well as Firefox).

  6. 1. According to the “About Internet Explorer” item in the toolbar, I’m using IE8 Beta. Should I update to the latest version?

    And yes, I do prefer IE over Firefox. I guess that comes from using it to the exclusion of everything else from the late 90s on up until I actually downloaded Firefox early this year. So, just being accustomed to IE’s structure, layout and options, plus the fact that it has a more effective pop-up blocker (it blocks everything, unlike Firefox’s which sometimes lets things through) are the main reasons I prefer it. I only use Firefox if a site doesn’t display right in IE, which has only happened on rare occasions.

    2) I come to this site directly using its URL. I don’t even know how to use a feed.

    I guess I’m not hip to some of these newfangled things on teh interwebs. >_< Hell, I still used GeoCities on up until they announced it was closing. I had that account since February of 2000. Started as a DBZ fansite that I never quite finished due to lack of time and no computer of my own until 2004 (had to use the public library's computer). Well, that’s enough rambling from me. IE8 Beta and coming to the blog via its URL. Any ideas?

    BETA might be the problem. I’m using 8.0.6001.18702 for IE on my one machine and a slightly later build for my Vista machine. The blog shows up fine for both. ^_^;

    Hell, I still used GeoCities on up until they announced it was closing.

    I never did as my ISP initially provided me with a webspace, then I scored my own domain after that. Still, GeoCities was such a huge part of the web in the 90’s. Sad to see it (and all the other places like it) go.
