AstroNerdBoy Japanese Rice Fields Made Into Art — Whoa!
Who knew that one could make art out of rice fields in Japan? Obviously not I but a little while ago, Major Scott sent me some pictures of this. Apparently, this stuff has been around a few years but it was so cool, I thought I’d share this with you guys, especially if you are like me and weren’t aware of it. ^_^
If you are interested in seeing how the Japanese do this, Inakadate has several pages showing the progression of various rice field art works from initial planting to harvest, including the one of the sengoku warrior and Napoleon seen in this article.
I love the tsunami one. Compare it to the original art.

Cool! I’ve never seen the first two, but I’ve seen the famous tsunami one. ^_^
