SPOILER Summary/Synopsis:

Keroro wakes up and discovers he has no voice. Kururu determines he just has a space cold. However, in order for him to “communicate”, Kururu brings out the “I Can Hear Your Inner Voice Right Now” microphone system. He demonstrates by imitating Keroro in the mic. Keroro has no choice but to act out what Kururu says, including “attacking” Natsumi with his butt. Keroro realizes he needs to pee, but everyone takes turns making Keroro do stuff. Eventually, his rage and need to pee overcome his lack of a voice, but he fails to make it to the bathroom. Everyone else gets sick, so Keroro takes his revenge.

Fuyuki’s PC is obsolete and he wants a new one. However, he’s talked into fixing/upgrading his old one. With Kururu clocked in Fuyuki’s backpack, they head to Akihabara along with Keroro, Tamama, and Giroro. The later three go to do their thing in Akiba. Kururu takes Fuyuki to a computer store off the beaten path. There, another alien attacks Kururu, forcing he and Fuyuki to flee 1000 meters below Akihabara. Fuyuki is amazed to discover evidence of aliens visiting Akihabara throughout Japan’s history. Kururu makes a PC from ancient parts, but the other alien arrives. After a tense standoff, turns out the alien is a friend of Kururu.

Thoughts/Review:

Back to the two story format in Keroro Gunsou Episode 134. Well, since the manga is mainly one chapter stories, it isn’t surprising.

Keroro Gunsou Episode 134

I gotta say, the first story had me laughing quite a bit. What can I say? I’m a guy and toilet humor is funny to me. As such, Keroro desperation to take a wiz made me laugh. Further, the fact that he didn’t make it to the toilet before releasing caused me to laugh more. Not sure if this came from a manga chapter or not (it wasn’t in the immediate aftermath of Alisa’s arrival). Nevertheless, I appreciated the laughs!

For the second story, it was nice seeing Kururu get some focus with Fuyuki. While their adventure in Akihabara may have been play-acting on the part of Kururu and his alien friend, it was still a fun story. I found it amusing (but not funny) that the reason Akihabara is so unique in Japan is the influence of centuries of alien influence.
