AstroNerdBoy I haven’t watched Saturday Night Live in YEARS, but I have watched clips here or there, such as SNL’s attempt to mock Japanophiles back in October.
Regardless, I guess the “J-Pop Talk Show” segment was popular enough to make a comeback. If you look to your right, you’ll see a purple pillow with the Mahora Coat of Arms on in. Does noticing this Negima! pillow make us as bad as the people being mocked in the segment? ^_~

As an aside, I could only skim through this episode, but I did notice that they corrected the “Sensei Mark” by properly addressing him as “Mark-sensei.” *lol* Hey, true Japanophiles would NEVER call someone “Sensei Something” because that’s NOT the Japanese way of doing things. ^_~

Meh… YMMV on whether the segment was popular enough to make a comeback, or whether it was another victim of SNLitis:
Does audience laugh?
1) Wholeheartedly: Keep repeating the gag, because the same joke will stay funny indefinitely.
2) Halfheartedly: Keep repeating the gag, because everyone knows repetition can make anything sound silly (aka the Wolf Blitzer principle).
3)*crickets chirping*: Keep repeating the gag, because they must be too dumb to get how funny we are the first time.
I found it fairly humorous. All of the add-on endings kept cracking me up-aru.
Also, there’s a pillow of Tony Chopper on the couch as well.

It’s just hilarious. If I were to say something to the staff members of SNL that were on that segment, it would be (In Japanese), “日本人じゃない! これらの外人は馬鹿ですね!”

Big Entertainment is the one who established region coding for DVD’s and Blu-ray in order to extract more money from their products by forcing more companies to get licenses to see their stuff. To me, it is a failure because as we’ve seen clearly in the anime world, people in other regions get screwed routinely. *_*

I also find it funny that the Death Symbol from Soul Eater is upside down. I wonder if that is on purpose or if the SNL people don’t realize which side it up.
