FUNimation Gets Some ADV

(source) Wow! I am literally floored by this. I never expected FUNimation would also pick up 31 former ADV licenses. Unlike the Geneon deal, these are complete license rescues (or transfers if you will). So while some already have dubs, some like Keroro Gunsou will have to be dubbed from scratch (I think ADV only dubbed a couple of episodes).

I’m thinking the FUNimation Channel will now have enough content to actually get off the ground now. I’d love to see that happen.

This stunned me as well. Despite ADV’s troubles, I never expected to see this. Did you read that FUNimation may try to get ADV to do the dubs for unfinished titles?

I think I remember seeing something about that on a blog from AX.
