Thoughts/Review:
Not a great deal to say about Keroro Gunsou Episode 127. We are back to the two story format, which is usual for the series.
The first story is cute but dumb. For plot gag purposes, Natsumi always shows up whenever Keroro attempts to ditch the counter, named Mash. At all other times, she’s frolicking with Fuyuki on the moon, doing things that lots of folks would probably appreciate. That aside, it made no sense for Mash to grow angel wings for a deus ex machina moment. I feel like I’m missing something regarding what this giant counter does, other than count down to zero.
The second story is rather silly as well. We are 127 episodes into the series, and Keroro doesn’t know what a typhoon is? 🤷♂️ Regardless, it was blatantly obvious that Keroro’s plan to stop the typhoon would fail. At the same time, there was no doubt that Giroro would use his one-shot weapon to save the day. I knew that the moment he got the bloody thing. Well, what can you do.
Final Thoughts and Conclusion
In the end, Keroro Gunsou Episode 127 is completely silly, cute in the first half, and boring in the second half.
