Seeing Negi’s artifact in action, I’d say that it’s a very good thing he spent time in Eva’s scroll… Figuring out the best way to use all of his pactio partners’ artifacts must have been troublesome.
Yep, I agree. No wonder he needed the extra time in the scroll. ^_^
ehhh…some disappointment over it. Its nothing unique, but giving him the ability to use all the artifacts is pretty cool. So I suppose its fine and still going to be an awesome fight. But this means his little harem group isn’t as important as he has access to all their artifacts. Wait, disregard that: it only works during the tournament right? if so, then there is no change to their important.

Oh, so the reason he spent the time in Eva’s scroll makes a lot more sense now. I think it was Chisame that mentioned that Negi couldn’t train hs body physically inside the Scroll, but he only needed to figure out how to use Asuna’s, Setsuna’s, and maybe Nodoka’s and Yue’s artifacts. The rest aren’t useful for battle, and Konoka’s doesn’t require much practice. speaking of her artifact, we can probably expect, only as a theory, that Negi will inflict high damage to Jack, but both Negi and Kotaro will be badly wounded, then Negi uses Konoka’s artifact to heal himself dramatically, and he will probably win with an epic casting of thousand bolts, or some other spell. Any other idea’s to how the battle might go?
and also, @mastermack0, or at anyone with an answer: why would his card only work during the tournament?
@orion — The conditions placed on the pactio were for it to only be in effect during the tournament. Once the tournament is over, Negi’s pactio card will no longer be functional.
Is that so? how boring 🙁 I wished it would last forever 🙁
Now that Akamatsu-sensei has written things so that a magister can also be a minister/ministra, then Negi can always pactio with someone else to regain an active card and artifact.
