AstroNerdBoy Yes, There is a Negima! Chapter 242 This Week. However…
Since there’s a lot of “Where’s Negima! 242?” questions out there, I’ll put out a quick blurb. Yes, the chapter is being published this week. So where are the spoiler images I normally post? Well, the Japanese haven’t uploaded any. I just checked and even the Japanese fans are asking where the spoilers are. lol
RUMOR has it that we may get an Ako-related story somehow worked in with the Jack-Kagetarou vs. Negi-Kotaro fight. That’s just rumor at the moment, but if true, it would be sweet. Scar answers anyone? Possible pactio? Who knows.
Regardless, hang in there. I’m as eager as you guys to get new spoiler images and when (or even IF) they do show up, I’ll post them as soon as I see them.
Update 1: It is now Sunday in the U.S. and STILL no spoiler images. Amazing. I really hope this does not mean that there won’t be any this week. Like you guys, I rather enjoy them because it whets the appetite for the actual manga release. I’ll keep looking.

I WAS wondering where the spoilers were! But thanks for letting us know. Well, at least we know there is a chapter. Maybe the chapter is so great they won’t release any spoilers. That WOULD build up the excitement of the chapter.
But an Ako-pactio?! Surely you jest, he can’t be kissing people during a fight. But Ako’s story REALLY better relate to the fight or I will be pissed (unless the fight ends this chapter)
I’m really, quite surprised that there are no spoilers yet. By now, there’s normally two batches of spoilers. Last week, we didn’t get the complete spoiler set either and may not this week.
‘Twill be a bummer if no spoiler images are posted. I rather enjoy them and I know a lot of “Negima!” fans do as well.
Well if THIS is a Ako chapter then it worries me about the battle. I’ve got this gut feeling that somehow Negi is going to get exposed during the battle. Taking the 72 or so days in Eva’s scroll and how Negi planed on the use of his pacto card, it wouldn’t surpise me if Negi had a backup plan just in case Raiken screws up and axidentally exposes Negi. Just a gut feeling.
The only thing I can possible think about Ako’s back story is that her family somehow has connections with the magic world (just like Yuna). Doesn’t this increase the number of students who are Naturally affilated to magic to like 5 or 7 people? Sorry for my random ranting Mr.Astro.
Ako probably has a dark past but I am unsold that she is a mage. Red eyes? She might be a demon…
