AstroNerdBoy Springtime Sakura (Cardcaptor Sakura that is)
Good old Sakura-chan from Cardcaptor Sakura. With her (apparent) recent appearance in Tsubasa -RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE- combined with springtime in the air, I figured, “Why not find an image of Sakura-chan to share.” This is from the Japanese 2002 calendar (obviously) but still a great image. ^_^
This is a show that I’d love to see license-rescued and re-released in an unedited form. I know there are lots of you who’d love to see the series with a dub too, seeing as how the only dub of the series was for Cardcaptors, which basically stripped about half the anime and wrote their own story. Maybe one day we’ll get our chance especially with the Japanese releasing a VERY expensive Blu-ray version.

I recently saw Cardcaptor Sakura in the Japanese dub with English fansubs. It was AMAZING AND I was able to download a few episodes in the High Definition Blu Ray form. It looked amazing.
So, you can do it too.

The irony is I’m currently filling in the CLAMP gaps in my anime collection and I just recently got ALL of Cardcaptor Sakura on DVD (these are the legit Pioneer releases)after collecting it for about three months. I’m currently on Season Three.

When I bought my CCS set, I scored it for less than $10/disc on a special sale that RightStuf had. Today, it appears I could sell my CCS set and make a profit on it. ^_^; It is a fun series though.
