    Chizuru wielding two onion sticks…

    “Negi” to be precise. 😉

  3. Arnel says:

Ha it looks like Negi is going to wind up Chachamaru again you know what that means.

  4. Zefyris says:

ah so the strange rating com from here, really too tiny to read it though.
natsumi is asking kotarou about some classmates and kotarou is giving them points. Still no clue about what’s the rating are about though.
    She then ask about herself.

About how frightening or strong they are, maybe? xD

    Looks like Chachamaru’s next, then?

  8. fg7dragon says:

Kinda late indeed. The RAW is out, you know.
Still, the final pic where Natsumi stufs Kamo in Kotarou’s mouth, lol, hehehe, my stomack hurts from laughter, hehe.
Anyway, I guess those numbers are related to combat ability.
As for Chachamaru, Negi chosing to recharge her energy(wind her up) before the pactio was not realy subtle, but still a great choice. For fanservice I mean, lol.

just a matter of time before someone casts Chizuru in a leekspin clone 😀

i found this link on mangahelpers so if anyone wants the raw spoilers here it is 😀

  11. ku_fei lover says:

    that could be her artifact

  12. Ah. Looks like someone already beat me to posting the link to the raw.

Looks to be a cute chapter. My grasp of Japanese is very limited, but Kota says he likes Natsumi and that she’s his “most important person,” and she tells him she likes him. Looks like Kota’s giving grades to all the girls he knows, too. Chizuru gets 400 points + onions of doom!

Speaking of negi suppositories, Kota might’ve avoided that horrible fate so far, but Yuuto, the male lead from Omamori Himari, wasn’t so lucky in a recent chapter >_<. I don't know who else follows that manga, but it's fairly interesting. It gets an official release in N. America next year. Well, it looks like Chachamaru’s going to be next up for a pactio. Negi shows up halfway through this chapter, and he’s got her key. Chacha-chan’s gonna get all wound up again, if you know what I mean. ^_~

  13. orion says:

@Zefyris: I was just thinking that! I’m guessing it’s how much Kotaro is intimidated by them, especially considering Chizuru and her onions…

Also, off-topic question, but: is there any difference between chives and green onions? (besides size) I’ve had both in dishes, and they’ve tasted similar, but do they have differences, or are chives just the fun-size?

Also, what exactly is ku_fei_lover trying to say?

The early scanning and uploading of these chapters is stupid and risks everything. The spoiler images are one thing but having the complete scans out there before Wednesday may make the Japanese crack down again and then we may not get spoilers at all. Even the Japanese won’t scan the whole chapter after the last crack down out of respect for the publishers. Why can’t we non-Japanese show the same respect?

  15. arimareiji says:

@orion – Probably more information than you wanted, but here are Wikipedia links on the different plants: chives and green onions/negi. (I used to think leeks were the same as green onions, myself.)

  16. @Orion:

Chives and green onions are two different species.

Also, ku_fei lover might be saying that if Chizuru got an artifact, it’d be Onions of Doom.

    @Anon:

When was last time a manga publisher sent a C&D order to a Western scanlator for posting scans of the original raws? Considering the Japanese language version isn’t available in this region and thus they have nothing to lose. It would be more likely that Del Rey would send a C&D to stop unauthorized English-language translations. Considering that scanlations of various Del Rey properties have been going on for years (the long gap between the Japanese and English releases are a likely factor as well), maybe they feel there’s no impact to sales to bother with scanlators. Negima is one of the top-selling manga in North America, after all.

  17. I remember you know you don’t need to know Japanese to get what Eva’s is saying to chachamaru I belive there was somewhere a scene when they both disscussed the possibility of Chachamaru geting a pactio …Evangeline was wondering would it be possible since chachamaru is a robot

  18. orion says:

Thank you for satisfying my oniony curiosity, arimeji and shadow!

Also, I agree with Shadow. I’m not quite sure how all the money-exchanging details work, but I’m think Del Rey gives a percent of it’s profit to SMC, right?

So if both companies noticed a drop in sales (which has not happened) they would order the C&D to the scanners of their language, because that is where they have the most money to lose.

    Does this make sense?

  19. yes but these scanlations are not affecting the sales in these case its more a promotion just look for reviews on the volumes release here. Besides nothing beats the feeling when you hold the manga in your own hands lol

  20. leo le plus bo lol says:

yes but there is one thinks that i don’t understand :why did it written in mana’s pactio’s card arcana and not tatsumiya .if it is because it’s her real name why it’s not written vesperina in asuna’s pactio’s card (and excuse my english :i’m a french teenagers so …)

  21. AstroNerdBoy says:

I’d have to go back and look at Mana’s card because I didn’t remember a name change. Regardless, if there is a name change (say, Mana got married) after she initially acquired the card, then that would explain why her name on the card would be different. Asuna had no memory of her real name and in effect is a whole new person. Thus, her pactio has her current name rather than her true name.

  22. lol thnx for the info now I got it lol I didn’t knew about that lol

  23. ku_fei lover says:

Also, ku_fei lover might be saying that if Chizuru got an artifact, it’d be Onions of Doom.

hehehehe I would die laughing if that happened
