Hey folks! As many of you know, I have a wide range in musical tastes from metal to hip-hop to pop to classical, etc. I do like a lot of music on the hip-hop side of the house (and a growing Japanese collection of said music), providing it makes my head nod to the beat. With that in mind, enter anime fan and rapper, Knox Hill.
Knox Hill found me through my blog some time back. Since he is a rapper as well as a huge anime fan, we have a lot in common and chat from time to time. Some of his favorite anime titles are Code Geass, Ruroni Kenshin, and Ghost in the Shell, sadly all of which are titles on my “you got to watch these” list, but for which I’ve not had time to actually watch. ^_^;
Knox Hill has just released a new album called Redemption. The first release from that album is called Samurai X, which many of you will recognize as a nod to Ruroni Kenshin. Take a listen (there is profanity, just so you know)
Anyway, check out his new album, which you can purchase to support a rapper who’s also an anime fan. Some tracks he has out as a free download. If you stop by, tell him AstroNerdBoy sent ya. ^_^

Dunno if you know but: http://bakabt.me/160314-tenchi-muyo-ryo-ohki-sound-file-dvd.html
I was blissfully unaware. I’ll check that out. Thanks. ^_^
Were you able to download it? BakaBT still has not whitelisted the last uTorrent, so I can’t download it. So it’ll be nice if you can upload it somewhere… Pretty Please!
I need to check to see if it did or not. I’ve been both busy and distracted, so I never checked to see if it finished or not. ^_^;;;;
OK, I just checked. I see there are 16 seeders, but I am not finding peers. 🙁 Nothing has come through.
OK, check if your torrent client and version is in the whitelist: http://bakabt.me/whitelist.php
They are a patch behind on their list.
I decided to use another torrent client to bypass bakabt’s filtering. Otherwise who knows how much we’ll have to wait, until they add the support for last version.
I’ll use Tixati: http://www.tixati.com/ (it says that there are no ads and installs/uninstalls cleanly, which is perfect if I don’t like it).
So the only question that would remain is how to send you the TM!R Sound file, so you won’t have to wait more. Do you have any ideas?
Well, did you manage to download it?
Not yet. I have torrents off at the moment as I’m in the middle of a video render, but I’ll try again.
OK, my rendering is done, so I turned torrent back on…and it is “Finding peers”. So apparently, still no go. 🙁
Try Tixati (http://www.tixati.com). It even does a better job for magnets than uTorrent. But the UI either sucks more or I’m not used to it.
Either way, I downloaded it for about 5 mins after installing it.
The problem I have is just that they have my version of uTorrent blocked and aren’t allowing torrents outside of their control (between users).
