Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:

Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 46Tsukasa announces to Kaname that she has successfully acquired the Line app skill. Kaname asks Tsukasa to exchange Line contacts, pleasing Tsukasa greatly. Kaname has a profile image from some ero manga. Nasa has an image of John von Neumann, a mathematician and computer scientist. Aya shows up and also exchanges Line entries with Tsukasa. Aya’s profile image is from Detective Conan.

Tsukasa examines Aya’s timeline and sees a mysterious poem published by Aya. Aya asks Tsukasa to follow her on Twitter, YouTube, and her blog. She uses Twitter and her blog for game reviews and YouTube for game streams. Kaname quietly wonders why Aya’s energies couldn’t be directed towards studying.

Tsukasa reports her activities to Nasa. She asks Nasa what apps he has. Nasa doesn’t use many apps, but does like a flight tracking app. Nasa gushes about the sheer volume of planes in the sky, but Tsukasa isn’t so impressed. However, she does decide to install the app and becomes hooked.

With Tonikaku Cawaii chapter 46, Hata-sensei completes splitting his normal page production into two weeks. So while last chapter saw us with 10 pages, including the splash page, Tonikaku Cawaii chapter 46 has only eight pages, including the splash page. Thus you have the eighteen pages that are the normal, weekly allotment for the series.

iPhone and Phone Apps

I’m a bit disappointed that Tonikaku Cawaii chapter 46 didn’t go into the realm of mobile games. Instead, this chapter seemed to be a big push for the Line chat app. Frankly, I don’t understand the appeal. I got it for my Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes game, as my guild used it for extra communications for officers. But I quickly grew weary of it, muted it, and haven’t used it since. Plus, I am forced to use a chat app for my job, and believe me, I don’t want to chat/text with anyone after that.

Still, I admit that I was mildly curious to check into Nasa’s flight app.

Aya’s Life

I liked getting more of a glimpse into Aya’s life in Tonikaku Cawaii chapter 46. It amused me that she does game review stuff on her blog and Twitter, while on YouTube, she streams games. I kinda hope Hata-sensei does some stuff with this in the future. There are some gaming channels I follow on YouTube, so I appreciate the work that goes into that. I’ve even dabbled in it a bit before giving up due to time constraints.

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

Time to wrap up this review of the short Tonikaku Cawaii chapter 46.

  • I’m ashamed to admit that I laughed at Kaname using an image as her icon from her favorite ero-manga. Hata-sensei really is making her an ultra perv despite her being so level headed in other areas.
  • Tsukasa’s reference to Nobunaga and the Sengoku era is Hata-sensei’s subtle way of reminding us about Tsukasa’s possible immortality. As he’s wont to do, he couches it in a joke.

In the end, there’s not much to Tonikaku Cawaii chapter 46, but I did enjoy what was there.
