Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:

Nasa and Tsukasa are enjoying an evening at home when Nasa gets a Line message on his phone. It is from his student, Shirogane, expressing her love for him. Tsukasa is most displeased by this and is not mollified by Shirogane immediately deleting the message.

The following day at school, Shirogane confronts Nasa about the mistaken message sent via Line. He promises not to tell anyone and she apologizes for causing him trouble. Since Nasa is married, Shirogane decides to ask him for romantic advice. She recounts an incident with Kurenai’s boyfriend and the boy’s class president. Shirogane became attracted to the president.

She got the president’s info, but has not seen him since. Her accidental message to Nasa was for the class president. Shirogane wants Nasa’s help to confess to her intended.

Meanwhile, Aya brags to Tsukasa on having 10,000 YouTube subscribers. Their chat is interrupted by Ginga. Aya is annoyed by his arrival. He states his belief that someone is after him.

Thoughts/Review:

It only took a lot of chapters, but Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 115 finally allows us to see Ginga and Aya interact again.

A New Story Arc

Hata-sensei is pretty good at story arcs, based on how he did things in Hayate the Combat Butler. That said, he does like to avoid them most of the time. However, in Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 115, he has started a new arc, though how long it will be is hard to say.

On one hand, we have the misunderstanding with Shirogane and her accidental Line text. Tsukasa didn’t show signs of being upset when she chatted with Aya. However, she has been uneasy with the idea of Nasa working at an all-girls school. So there may be more of that coming.

Next, we have Nasa helping Shirogane. And of course, there’s the possibility that Kaguya may cause conflict.

Finally, Ginga returns the picture. Hata-sensei had teased a thing between Aya and Ginga, and that came up again. However, Gina dropping the notion of someone being after him is new. It could be something sinister, or it could be Aya. We’ll see.

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

In the end, Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 115 is a fun chapter that appears to be getting into a new story arc. And I’m good with that.
