Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:

Himari enjoys her bath and sauna at the bathhouse. However, she continues to ponder the mystery of why Tsukasa looks exactly like a girl whom she saw die several years ago.

Meanwhile, Nasa figures that if Himari hasn’t actually witnessed Tsukasa’s regenerative powers, an explanation could be made to put her off. Tsukasa decides to gather information and calls “Shinobi”, which is Aurora. Tsukasa gives Aurora Himari’s name. Nasa tells what little he remembers from when they were kids. With that, Aurora starts work.

Tsukasa expresses weariness over going through this scenario repeatedly throughout her life. Nasa asks how many times her secret got out. She doesn’t have a number, but she tells him that when she sees someone about to die, she goes to save them. However, after rescuing some of the people, they look at Tsukasa as if she were a monster, which frustrates her.

Back at the bathhouse, Himari returns to the reception area. Asimo rushes in, so Himari treats him a bit harshly. However, he tells her that he’d given her a wrong answer earlier. To that end, he tells her he loves her. She’s embarrassed due to the pubic setting, but she takes him back to her house to study.

Thoughts/Review:

Well, one thing about this series, Hata-sensei isn’t making the males wishy-washy when it comes to the ladies. Nasa is the most straight forward guy. But Asimo doesn’t do bad. Its just that Himari is a typical girl that expects a guy to read her mind. And like most guys, Asimo failed to do so right away.

That aside, Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 243 continues to push the mystery of Tsukasa’s past with Himari. It seems pretty obvious that Himari saw Tsukasa die. More surprising is that Tsukasa doesn’t seem to remember Himari. Otherwise, why have Aurora start an investigation? I have been under the impression that Tsukasa’s memories since becoming immortal are pretty vivid. But maybe I’m wrong. Or maybe Himari saw Tsukasa die while saving someone else? I guess we’ll find out eventually.

Speaking of Aurora, why does Tsukasa have her named “Shinobi” on her phone? Hata-sensei put that out deliberately. I’ve long suspected that Aurora and Charlotte were girls saved by Tsukasa at some point. I’d love to know how they came to serve Tokiko’s household.

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

In the end, Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 243 was a pretty interesting chapter. I’m looking forward to learning more about Himari’s past with Tsukasa.
