Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:

Mishio and Hotaru asks Nasa about his relationship with Tsukasa before they got married. Nasa reveals that he pretty much proposed the moment he met Tsukasa. As such, there was no relationship before they got married. Nasa asks them to define what one would do in a normal relationship. Hotaru responds by saying the couple would go to one of their houses to study.

Elsewhere, Asimo enters Himari’s apartment. Asimo is nervous, she Himari attempts to assure him. Further, she teases him by revealing her parents won’t be back until late. Asimo asks what Himari’s parent’s do for work. She responds by saying her parents aren’t “there” any more.

Back at the guesthouse, Nasa asks Tsukasa if there’s anything she’d like to do as part of a normal relationship. After pondering things, Tsukasa states that everything they do now is part of a normal relationship.

Thoughts/Review:

Another short chapter with Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 246. We already had a hint that something bad happened to Himari’s mother. But this chapter suggests that something bad happened to both of her parents. That sucks. We’ll see where Hata-sensei takes things.

Nasa’s life as a teacher gets a look-see. Mishio and Hotaru get to carry the filler load by asking Nasa about his time with Tsukasa before they got married. And then Nasa wants to know about normal relationships, which segues the the Himari-Asimo stuff, but then provides the payoff at the end. Nothing to write home about, but it is fine for what it is.

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

In the end, Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 246 is just a fluff, filler chapter with one piece of plot information regarding Himari. Hopefully, the next chapter will be longer so I don’t have to write filler to get 300 words in. 😂
