Sayla Mass (Mobile Suit Gundam Love)

Sayla Mass (Mobile Suit Gundam Love)

I’m not sure why, but as I watch the original Mobile Suit Gundam series, Sayla Mass is the only girl who seems attractive to me. *lol* Is it the blonde hair or that hair cut? Maybe it is the eyes? I’m not sure and to be honest, it really doesn’t matter.

I also found this image on my HD from when I was looking for some general Gundam images to post. I look at it again and suddenly, this appears to be a spoiler. ^_^;;;

If this does happen, I can’t say that I’ve seen signs of it thus far. ^_^;;;

I’m hoping to have the next Gundam episode blogged tomorrow. I should be back in town early enough to get that done.

Oh, and a bit of housekeeping — I’m almost a week behind on e-mail so if you’ve sent me something, I haven’t seen it yet. Sorry.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

    For such a well-done drawing of the characters and top half of the Gundam, the artist really dropped the ball with the rest of the mecha. It’s… missing the whole torso?

  2. AstroNerdBoy says:

    Isn’t that the Core Fighter segment that is missing? That’s the part I’ve seen swapped out.

  3. Manae says:

    No, even without a core fighter if the parts of the Gundam are stacked it wouldn’t look like the core fighter is missing. I believe the first time a core fighter ever is visible outside of the mobile suit is with the GP-01 (in particular, the upgraded version) from 0083. And then not again all the way until Victory Gundam.

    Man that is beautiful. I am attracted too. She looks a lot like that girl from Spy girls cartoon. Alex I think. Same suit and hair, and makeup and everything.

    ANB when are going to do a review of BPS or other Hiroki shows. I’d like to hear your thoughts on his other works.

    I suspect that at least part of it is the angle that the image is being viewed from. A key point in arguing that is the yellow vents on the front of the Gundam, which look more like the narrow ones on the Zeta than the ones on the RX-78-2. That suggests a pretty steep angle, which hints at why much of the torso might be out of sight under the ever so slight bulge that the chest makes.

    As for why Sayla might be the only female that has caught ANB’s eye…

    Considering that there are only three of them onboard the White Base (not counting the little girl)… And while Sayla isn’t slender enough for a Leiji Matsumoto heroine, she’s not THAT far from what you might see in something by that artist. Whereas Frow Bow and Mirai, in a word, aren’t.

    That doesn’t mean that the latter two are unattractive by any means. But Sayla’s obviously got the stand-out appearence.

    After thinking about it for a while, I think Sayla just doesn’t look like she came out of the 70’s like all of the others do. Further, she’s blonde and I have had a thing for blonde girls in my life. ^_^
