AstroNerdBoy Japanese Child-robot with Biomimetic Body (CB2) — Come on, Chachamaru!
It is being reported in various places about the latest Japanese robotics project — Child-robot with Biomimetic Body, otherwise known as CB2.
I’m always amazed at the staggering array of robotic projects coming out of Japan. While it does bring me to think of anime titles like Bubblegum Crisis 2040, I can’t help but also think of Chachamaru from the manga Negima!. Granted Chachamaru is much more attractive than CB2, but I figure that sometime in the future, Akamatsu-sensei will be approached to have a robot designed to look like Chachamaru. She may not look like her earlier design shown below, but like her new body as seen naked in volume 21. ^_^;;;
