AstroNerdBoy Lupin III Marries AYANAMI Rei?
In my surfing the web for images, I often stumble upon interesting images from Japanese sites as well as U.S. ones. I saw this and just laughed. It was from a Japanese image board and the notation mentioned Rei’s name (from Neon Genesis Evangelion for those who don’t know who Rei is). It does look like her and that is what appears to be Lupin III. *lol*
I couldn’t find a larger version (sadly) but this will do I suppose. Still, an interesting crossover, eh? ^_~
Speaking of crossovers, I’m hoping to get to see the Lupin III vs. Detective Conan crossover special this year.

Also Lupin VS Conan came out ages ago. I saw it raw. It was ok, I guess.
I thought of that too, based on what Rei is wearing. I love the sweat bead on Lupin though. *lol*

In an alternate universe, anything is possible. *lol* However, I too am suspicious which is why I put the question mark in my title.
That image is from one of the endings for the game “Ayanami Rei Raising Project” or “Ayanami Rei ikusei keikaku” I got the game years ago, and still it is very hard to marry Rei…:(

Other than parody, is there a reason the male character looks like Lupin III?
If you develop Rei´s different abilities like Intelligence, Physical strength, Morality. Synchronization rate, Romantic feelings, etc…She can become, lets say for example, an “otaku”, nurse, policewoman, etc.
I still dont remember how Lupin got in there. It was a long time ago…There are MANY parameters…and I was playing the game, “blindly”…Probably I raised Ayanami with “Lupin´s personality” and thats how she ended like that.
There are three different marriage endings and that´s one of them. Probably She marries Lupin instead of the player… 😛

I remembered how that happened. I raised Ayanami Rei as an “Otaku” so the marriage is a “cosplay” event. The player is dressed as Lupin. 🙂
