AstroNerdBoy Some Cool, new CGI Scenes for Space Battleship Yamato!
Watch this footage advertising the latest pachinko game featuring Space Battleship Yamato (Space Battleship Yamato 2 actually — this is still a pretty hot franchise in Japan) and tell me if you think this is cool or not, regardless of whether you’ve seen any of the Space Battleship Yamato (or as it was domesticated in the U.S. as Star Blazers) titles. Try to watch in HD if possible.
I saw this footage and I thought, “Man! In the hands of a good writer who could take the original story, turn it into a 3-part movie, AND make it so that adults could enjoy it, such a movie could kick bottom and take names.” Seriously, does this look cool or what?
If I get to Japan, I’ll have to check for this pachinko game for sure. ^_^
