Even More Negima! Chapter 269 Spoilers

Here are a couple of pages that weren’t part of the original batches (for those who missed it, click HERE for the first batch and HERE for the second batch). Someone in Japan reposted some of the original images, but this is the only new one that I saw.

Also, that last Asuna image was from an ad, but here’s the whole thing as proof. ^_~

    That shot of Nagi carrying Arika in mid-air would probably benefit from a Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo parody ‘shop.

    You know what I’m talking about… that poster…

    You pretty much have this week’s chapter.

  3. Orion says:

    So from this page it looks like Nagi dropped in the cavern, and pretty much ran all the way back to the surface so he could summon his broom and get out, so maybe he’s pretty much the same as Negi with the whole “magic fistsman” thing.

    Actually, ANB, this might add some credence to your theory, considering I don’t think Negi new Nagi practiced martial arts too. Odd that their paths coincided even when they didn’t know about it.

  4. Sian says:

    actually … Negi did ‘sort of’ know …

    He knew that Nagi was strong enough (in one way or another) to be his own frontline :p

    @Orion: I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure Negi was told Nagi was a combination fighter/mage soon before or soon after he decided to go that path.

    But from a tangential line of thought, this might still support Negi = Nagi anyway. At least a couple of times now, Negi’s reaction at the thought of being more like Nagi has been “Ooooh ♥”, my favorite being the time Al was teasing Eva by promising to take on Negi and teach him. (“What’s with that Ooooh ♥!?!?”) And can you think of anyone who’s more in love with Nagi than… well, Nagi? (^_~)

    @ANB: Much more tangentially, I finally started watching Nanoha. Definitely like it so far; thanks for the rec. (^_^)

    But I was a bit unnerved by her loli-rrific transformation sequence. I know that’s weird, since nominally she’s in the roughly the same age range as the battle harem, but unlike the battle harem she seems to be drawn with a pretty-accurate-to-age body. Is it just me?

    @arimareiji — Nanoha is considered to be an otaku mahou shoujo title, meaning it wasn’t written for young girls but rather the otaku market. As such, I believe that is why her henshin sequences have her get nude and possibly account for the “accurate-to-age body” art you describe. It has been a while since I watched Nanoha though.

    I do remember that by the time of StrikerS, the henshin sequences were much fewer in occurrence though they still happen. Of course, there’s only one loli in StrikerS though.

    @Anon — that raw is simply the reposted, blown-up spoiler images. ^_^;

  8. ATC says:

    3 Lolis in StrikerS there ANB.

    Vita, Caro, and Lutecia.

  9. Anonymous says:

    oh sorry about the raw i just google it and i dont know that it the same sorry

  10. AstroNerdBoy says:

    @anon — no problem. ^_^

    @ATC — Ah yeah. Well, it has been a while since I last saw that too. ^_^;;;

  11. Man, I was browsing the iternet, and I realized tha THERE IS a shoujo version for Negima! I wonder how’s that. Maybe it’s the girl’s point of view, or sumthing…
    But I wonder… the girls themselves haven’t appeared the way they used to… hehehe

  12. Nanoha thats one of my favourites not becuse the nude sequences I actually liked the storyline XD:) Especially all the sci-fi stuff they haved Mildchildia Alhazard the whole seed arc’s and Project Fate these themes where my favourites generally the characters are good as well just like here ! anyways my theory for Nanoha strikers is that Jack Scailetti lied about his clones and that he only wanted to finish off the people who controlled him (these brains) After that it seem he wanted to die in a big way XD:)
