Thoughts/Review:

Urusei Yatsura - 126Man, this was rather a boring episode not to mention strange. Basically, this episode seemed like little more than to get as many cameos in as possible though strangely enough, Ataru’s parent’s didn’t show up. Well, with all the other characters that were crammed in, I suppose there wasn’t room.

Kotatsu-neko is not what I’d call an interesting character and to center an entire episode around this giant cat is not what I’d call a good call, hence why I found the episode so boring. Because so many characters had cameos, no one stands out as they get to say their few lines and we move on. Again, rather boring.

Urusei Yatsura - 126The only decent part of the episode was when Ataru became flirtatious with Ran in promising to help her find her missing object, leading to a normal bout of jealousy from Lum. However, he manages to avoid Lum’s attack which made me smile. Then later when Lum grabs Ataru’s hands, both laugh and that laugh signaled what we all knew was coming — Lum was going to get her revenge and punish Ataru severely, enough so that her storm troopers got caught in it.

So a rather disappointing episode. Hopefully the next one will be better.

    Old school anime! I couldn’t believe it when I saw this being blogged. I read all of your reviews and agree with what you had to say for the most part. Are you going to do Ranma 1/2 next?

    I’ve already watched Ranma 1/2 and don’t have any plans to rewatch it. ^_^; There are other old school anime titles I do plan to blog though. I haven’t made up my mind on which one will be next though. I still have a lot more UY to plow through. ^_^;;;

    Thanks for dropping by. ^_^

    I wonder.

    Am I the only one who thinks Japanese school girls look sexier with long skirts, and sluttier with short ones.

    I hadn’t given it much thought. ^_^;
