Thoughts/Review:
Heh!heh! Well, since Shakugan no Shana-tan Revenge had Index-tan make a guest appearance, I’m not surprised that the crossover humor remains. So, Shana-tan gets channeled here (Shakugan no Shana), and Taiga from Toradora also got a cameo here via her mascot cat. Those moments were the funniest to me, considering how I’ve watched them both. Naturally, Index-tan channeling Shana-tan was the funniest moment of all.
Much like the Shana-tan franchise, this first Index-tan episode parodies moments in the anime to varying degrees of humor. I was amused by the apparently true story of Kanzaki’s seiyuu, ITOU Shizuka, getting drunk at the series launch party. Nice to know she can have fun with it.
The hogging of meat in a yakiniku meal, or in a nabe meal, is an old joke. The interesting twist this time was after having Komoe-sensei tell Himegami when the various, traditional yakiniku vegetables were done, to announce things like the grilled pumpkin and melon were done. *lol* Sounds nasty.
Overall, an amusing episode.
Index is voiced by Iguchi Yuka rather than Kugimiya.
Frack me! You’re right. I’m not sure how I went down that wrong rabbit hole. I’ve fixed the post. ^_^;;;
Thanks for the correction. ^_^
