Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:

Nasa completes his chat with Tokiko and returns to Tsukasa. She is looking at the moon over Mt. Fuji in the night sky. Tsukasa mentioned Tokiko getting a bit to clingy of late. However, she agrees with Nasa to pay her back for the surprise party.

Nasa tells his wife some of what Tokiko talked to him about. He asks Tsukasa for her thoughts on why people get married. She feels that people get married because their lives don’t last forever. In the end, she believes that only love lasts forever. Wedding vows are made to unbreakable rings that symbolize eternity.

After she finishes her thoughts, the two kiss and swear eternal love to the night sky.

Thoughts/Review:

There’s not a lot to say about Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 102, but it was still a sweet chapter.

Tsukasa

Tsukasa was the main focus of Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 102. That’s in part because of her rather long monologue on wedding vows. But even when Nasa returned from Tokiko, Tsukasa was still the focus.

Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 102

One thing Hata-sensei did was reiterate that this manga is the continuation of The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter. Tsukasa takes the role of Kaguya-hime. Whether in actuality or figuratively is to be determined. But as stated, Kaguya-hime was returning to the moon, but was intercepted and married the man who stopped her from going to the moon.

That aside, it is clear that Hata-sensei used Tsukasa in this chapter to romantically go on about marriage. And that’s what made the chapter sweet.

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

In the end, there’s not  a lot to say about Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 102, but as I previously stated, it is a sweet chapter. And there were color pages!
