Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 173
Tonikaku Kawaii Fly Me to the Moon 173
トニカクカワイイ 173
Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:
Aurora and Charlotte deliver a scratched and dented, expensive sports car from Shiori. Tsukasa wonders about Shiori giving them an expensive car, even if the paint job is damaged. Nasa thinks it is okay, so Tsukasa goes along with it. An annoyed Chitose tells them they need to leave as they have a long drive in front of them. Aurora and Charlotte mention they’ll be following in a second car and that everything is prepared.
At Otogi High School, the girls in Nasa’s class plan their trip to Kyoumaru Village. Hotaru is concerned about mountain disasters and accidents. Hakase assures her that the trip will be fine, more so since they have Kaguya coming with them.
Meanwhile, Tsukasa, Nasa, and Chitose have stopped at a restaurant. Nasa is excited to learn more about Tsukasa’s past. Chitose chimes in on how Tsukasa never talks about her past. Tsukasa says her past is boring. Further, she established the hidden residence 645 years ago to escape humanity.
Elsewhere, the girls from Nasa’s class arrive at the hidden village. As they look at the different houses, Jessie wants to check out the mansion of the last resident, supposedly built 100 years ago. However, Kaguya has seen something that makes her want to confirm something.
Thoughts/Review:
Well, we are getting closer to the third meeting between Kaguya and Tsukasa as Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 173 has both groups going to the same area.
Tsukasa’s Past
We’ve seen Tsukasa open up about her past with Tokiko and even Chitose. And thanks to Nasa’s memory dream, combined with some minor things Tsukasa has mentioned, we know that Tsukasa was involved with Prince Umayado. And we know Tsukasa traveled the globe. But as Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 173 shows, there’s a lot more to learn about her past. That’s understandable, considering how old Tsukasa actually is.
The interesting thing is that Tsukasa is really reluctant to talk about her past. One one hand, she says it was boring. However, we know that she was involved in interesting things. That aside, Hata-sensei gave us a glimpse at some incident where Tsukasa is in a dark robe, brandishing a non-Japanese sword in front of a wall of fire. And she’s talking about a small mistake creating a huge sin. So it will be interesting to see what that was about.
Nasa’s Girls
The girls from Nasa’s class make it to the hidden village in Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 173. And they are going for the mansion. At the moment, Nasa and company are still on the road, so I’m not sure how the girls from Nasa’s class got there so quickly. I wonder what has Kaguya wanting to confirm something.
That aside, I don’t think Tsukasa will mind Nasa’s students showing up, even if they are girls. She’s met most if not all of them. However, I can see Chitose going off, which could be amusing. And of course, the 3rd meeting between Kaguya and Tsukasa is forthcoming.
Final Thoughts and Conclusion
In the end, Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 173 teases us with more interesting things about Tsukasa’s past. At the same time, it gets us closer to the meeting of a Nasa’s party and Hakase’s party. And we get a little Chitose comedy as well.
