I will add new notes in parenthesis, labeled “ANB  note.”  😅 I won’t count these as part of the “Back to the Vaults” series as I have not rewatched them.

Community Anime Review of Di Gi Charat

Hmmm…after reading all of the “buy” ratings (on the C.A.R. site), I began to wonder if maybe I’d seen a different series. I watched it a second time, but I still couldn’t get into it.

Basically, you have three chibi-type, UBER-KAWAII girls who are the center of these tiny episodes. A lot of people like Dejiko’s use of the “word” “-nyo” at the end of every sentence. It got on my nerves for some reason. Other characters uses terms as well. The humor is there, but it didn’t make me laugh. I did chuckle a couple of times but not that often. I tried but I couldn’t get into the series.

Bottom line: It wasn’t my kind of anime, but I’m in the minority, especially considering the number of sequels there are out there. 😉
