Incoming New Manga Christmas Purchases!

Hey gang! Sorry for a cheap post, but man, I am slammed so hard at work of late. Can’t wait for my Christmas vacation!

Regardless, I was looking at the stack of manga that I have read (and will likely need to reread since it has been a while) and remembered that I’m behind on my new manga purchases. I don’t buy as many these days, mainly because there aren’t as many active series that I follow and want in my collection. Nevertheless, here are the titles I’m picking up for Christmas.

• Spy x Family, Vol. 13 — Man, I am looking forward to this one because the series is so good. I’ll have to get a refresher on where things left off though.
• My Senpai is Annoying Vol. 12 — I think this is the final volume in the series. Kinda sad, but I’ll get to read the extra goodies and relive those last moments of awesomeness.
• Ascendance of a Bookworm (Manga) Part 2 Volume 8 — I was told that to expedite the publishing of the manga adaptation of the light novels, Part 2 and Part 3 manga in Japan started getting published in parallel with different artists. I have the first two volumes of part 3, so it is nice to get back to part 2 and continue that story.
• My Dress-Up Darling 12 — I’m way behind on reading this series. I’m even behind on purchasing this volume. I’m thinking this is a series I’ll need to start over from scratch to get back into the groove of things. The only thing I remember is that there’s some cute, outgoing gyaru and a more introvert guy who connect via her love for cosplay and his love of sewing. (As an aside, I don’t know why this has an explicit warning. I only recall some mild ecchi in earlier volumes.)

Like I said, not as many purchases any more as all my favorite series have slowly ended over time.

What’s in the stack I’ve read by not reviewed? A Certain Scientific Railgun 18 as well as volumes 7 through 12 of Sweetness and Lightning. 😅 I do have a lot of stuff to do around my home during my time off, and I want to catch up on sleep. But I am going to make an effort to get these reviews written and in the queue for 2025.
