SPOILER Summary/Synopsis:

With Kiria’s defeat, Laxus returns to normal, but in pain. He has no memory of what transpired, but seeing Lucy and Kiria unconscious, he understands that Lucy has grown in power. Elsewhere, Natsu and Suzaku hunt for Ignia and encounter Happy.

Still elsewhere in the dungeon, an angry, short-haired Erza faces a smug, smirking Misaki. Erza orders Gray and Gajeel to not interfere. As such, Misaki sends herself and Erza into Blue Dimension. There, Erza merely floats, allowing Misaki to blast her with Blue Stream. Five seconds later, both emerge, where Erza instantly takes five hours of continuous damage.

Misaki turns her attention to Gray, Gajeel, and Charle (Carla). However, Erza surprises her by getting up and challenging Misaki again. As such, Misaki sends them to the Blue Dimension. However, Erza uses her armor changing abilities to maneuver, allowing her to attack Misaki, who becomes angry as a result.

Thoughts/Review:

So two of Diabolos are out of action. Once has teamed up with Natsu. Not sure what the status of Madmole and Skullion are, nor Kirin. And Erza faces Misaki. Man, it is difficult to keep track of everything. Oh yeah, Selene is on the move because of Ignia.

That aside, the bulk of the chapter dealt with Erza fighting Misaki. For me, the problem of the chapter is, “Been there, done that.” Sure, Misaki is a new opponent with new abilities for Erza to deal with. But her fights usually feel the same to me. Some opponent gives her a beat-down. Erza says, “‘Tis but a scratch” (or something to that effect). Then Erza surprises her opponent by taking the beating and returning for more. 🤷‍♂️

Obviously, Erza will win this fight. Since Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Chapter 104 ends with Misaki taking damage from Erza, I predict we’ll get the, “Well, I guess I’ll have to get serious” speech from Misaki.
