Ah! My Goddess chapter 301 Manga Review
SPOILER Summary/Synopsis:
Keiichi starts to enjoy the newly improves race course from the Lake Goddess when Tyr points out the corkscrew turn and wonders what Keiichi will do. Belldandy and the Lake Goddess are sure it will be OK. Keiichi goes with the slide (drift) in the turn, shocking Tyr, though Tyr is sure there’s plenty of fun left for Keiichi ahead. Belldandy tells her father that Keiichi will be unstoppable, something Tyr looks forward to seeing.
Keiichi is again enjoying the race, but when he comes to the top of a hill, he discovers a pond that the track goes around. Tyr is amused at the thought of Keiichi splashing into the pond while the Lake Goddess admits to having made said pond. However, both she and Belldandy feel Keiichi will be fine.
Keiichi knows he doesn’t have the time to slow down and go around, so he manages to jump the pond. Tyr finds what just happened to be impossible, which Belldandy points out to him.
Keiichi finishes the race and reaches Belldandy, who races to gather him in her arms. Tyr notes that Keiichi made it just in time when Keiichi asks if he can race it one more time.
Thoughts/Review:
Well, it was only a matter of time before Keiichi won the race. I was amused at how he wanted to do it again after winning.
I liked Belldandy’s and the Lake Goddess’s confidence in Keiichi. I loved how Belldandy ran to him at the end of the race to embrace him. Too bad they didn’t kiss there.
One thing that was clear from this chapter was Fujishima-sensei’s motorcycle love. This was like his ultimate dream, where he’s in the role of Keiichi, racing some beautiful race course to reach the beautiful gainjin babe at the end of the line. Not that I have any problem with this dream mind you, but that is how I see things.
Otherwise, I’m not finding a lot to say. I am interested in learning where things go since this was all about Keiichi and Belldandy becoming a couple.
I never did understand why he got away with being 7 seconds late. Looks like father-in-law is a little kind hearted after all….
Was he? I thought he had seconds to spare.
He wasn’t late. He finished the track in 2’53” – the clock counts backwards, check the first track.
