Ah! My Goddess Ch. 241 *SPOILERS*

Ah! My Goddess Manga/Oh My Goddess! Manga
ああっ女神さまっVolume 38 Chapter 241

Summary/Synopsis:

Hagall seals Hild but is challenged by the commander of the troops for her actions. He tells her she’ll always be #2 and attacks her with his lightning attack. Hagall tells him he won’t be able to defeat her and his body is shown to dissolve and vanish.

At Whirlwind, Belldandy finds Chihiro and Megumi stripping Keiichi. Belldandy gives Keiichi his present but before he can open it, his pants fall to the ground. It is an astronaut watch, meaning it has a 24-hour face rather than the traditional 12-hour face. Keiichi is very excited by this and even states that this watch makes him feel his spirit has been sent into space. Belldandy is happy, knowing it was the perfect gift for Keiichi and telling his it will go with him wherever he goes. Keiichi takes the opportunity to ask her if she will go with him wherever he goes, which she confirms.

Their conversation is interrupted by “chibi-Hild” crashing into the store.

Thoughts/Review:

Fujishima-sensei still has my attention with Hagall deposing Hild and chibi-Hild coming in on Belldandy and Keiichi. So not unexpectedly, Keiichi and company will more than likely be helping Hild take back her kingdom because the situation will be that dire with Hagall in charge. Still, Hagall is interesting just because she took down Hild and destroyed the commander of the guard. That alone will insure that her coup is complete. After all, what will the other troops do if their commander was so easily defeated? “All hail Hagall!” is what they’ll say.

The gift that Belldandy gave Keiichi is something I’m guessing that will play a role in the story somehow. I’m not sure how a 24-hour watch will help short of it being enchanted somehow.
