SPOILER Summary/Synopsis

Haiyoru! Nyaru-ani: Remember My Mr. Lovecraft - 05Mahiro, Atoko, Nyarlko, Cthuko, and Nyarle take a much anticipated trip to an onsen.  On the girls side, there’s the usual onsen chatter followed by Atoko making a move on Cthuko, Cthuko making a major move on Nyarlko, Nyarle’s chest growth being discussed by a none to happy Nyarlko, Atoko mentioning deceiving the viewers and making a move on Nyarle, Nyarlko trying to fend off the amorous Cthuko while trying to convince Mahiro to join them.

While this is going on, outside the water, the small dragon relaxes in a water bucket.

There are 42 days until the Borg whatever comes to Earth.

Thoughts/Review

Haiyoru! Nyaru-ani: Remember My Mr. Lovecraft - 05This episode contained all of the standard onsen trip cliches except for the men peeking aspect, which was replaced by Atoko and Cthuko trying to engage in yuri activities.  *_*  What made me chuckle was the fact that the production team had the entire episode with the viewers looking at the dragon enjoying his own personal hot tub, in the form of a wooden bucket.  There’s something to be said in the humor aspects of not showing certain things or censoring out certain things.  While the censored talk of episode 3 wasn’t funny to me, the focus on the dragon while ecchi stuff is clearly going on off camera is funny, even if I didn’t laugh out loud.  So I’ll give the production team one.

Did that dragon fart in his bucket?  Not sure what that red thing was and I’m afraid to go “there.”  ^_^;;;

I still hope that a proper adaptation of the light novels is produced before all is said and done.
