Anonymous provides Kajishima-sensei’s words at the end of Omatsuri Zenjitsu no Yoru Seikishi Ban 11.12.
Dude! ^_^ No one seems to have shared this yet, so here’s Kajishima’s message from the last page of the 11.12 Onsen.
Well then, I had to rush this a bit, but for now the chapter on pilot suit explanations is closed. Painting everything is a lot of work, but it’s been fun to draw these, so maybe I’ll try some more styles at some point. There’s probably quite a bit still left unexplained anyway…Next time the topic will be “Parents’ Visiting Day”. I want to cover things like Chiaia’s and Wahanly’s mothers, who never made an appearance. Hence, Mexiah (will be presenting the story).
In terms of work, it’s definite that the novel will be out in January 2012 and I’ll have an illustration in Dragon Magazine at the same time. Since I managed to conclude the whole runaway Fuku-chan thing, I can now take the plunge into the Earth chapter. ……Here’s hoping I can finish that in a single volume. Everything else is still sort of in the pipeline. See you in the summer!
Kajishima Masaki
Damn, he made it sound like something new was imminent last time but now it’s back to the usual vagueness again.
Heh! Kajishima-sensei is notorious for that. ^_^; I guess whatever things he’d hoped to have ready to anounce didn’t pan out yet. We’ll see what the summer has to say. In the meantime, thanks for the update!
Note: This information is mirrored on the Tenchi Muyo! FAQ site. ^_^
Kajishima- trolling fans since 1992
*lol* Well, it does seem to work, somehow. ^_~
Yeah, according to one person: Kajishima.
I will still be pulled in with new developments, ive got myself too deep with the Tenchi franchise not too. I loved seikishi and really felt like i understood absolutely everything, including all the stuff that could only be explained if you understood tenchi muyo. I loved sharing my interpretation of events and characters. The ONLY thing wrong with it was that in the dying minutes of the last episode, Kajishima just *had* to put a new story element in, which would never go anywhere! It was like TM!R all over again!
Ive learnt not to like any of his franchises now because Kajishima is a troll. If an anime does not come to a conclusion- it fails. simple really.
Well, what I meant was that his GXP novels still sell, as do the doujinshi.
>If an anime does not come to a conclusion- it fails. simple really.
Sadly, there are lots of anime title that don’t come to a conclusion.
So where’s the “project news” promised in the title? All this has is some not very interesting book stuff we already knew happened in January. Even if you’re a big Kajishima fan, trolling people isn’t very nice.
The issue is that he probably thought there’d be something he could announce, but that didn’t come through. Thanks to non-disclosure agreements, unless and until all the T’s are crossed and i’s are dotted, you aren’t allowed to say anything. So while you could call it “trolling,” I don’t attach a purposeful intent to mislead on his part.
@Lan:
Well, you said it yourself: “Kajishima- trolling fans since 1992”
@ANB:
About the site – try W3Schools: http://www.w3schools.com/ if you don’t know it. It’s probably the best for simple/basic Web development and probably best suited for you. There are explanations for every tag, which browsers support that tag, you can try tings, etc.
This is the place you’re looking for!
And some fun Star Wars pics I found:
– http://jamesjacob.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/star-wars-t-shirts-7-480×325.jpg (Star Wars is truly in the past. Look the evolution of AT-AT and how it’ll resemble the present day anime mechas!)

– Here’s more… T-shirts: http://hideyourarms.com/2009/07/16/list-ofstar-wars-tshirts/
– And finally, something anime related: http://www.flickr.com/photos/donsolo/3991890265/ (She’s from anime called Fireball, although I don’t know if it could be called anime: http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=animelist&adb.search=fireball&do.search=search).
Thanks for the HTML learning link and images. ^_^
By the way, if you have problems with the web site coding or you want to do something, but you don’t know how, you can post the problem in your blog (maybe make a thread and post it with a date like something, 2015, so it’ll always be on top) and when the site is ready you can just remove the thread.
There’s no guarantee that someone would be able to help you, but it’ll at least increase your chances to succeed and lower possibly lower your headache. Also, web sites like StackOverflow.com (most popular for everything involving coding) should help you if you have a question.
Well, that’s a possibility. I’ll think about it.
Geez… I was talking about your post title trolling with “project news” when there actually wasn’t any. You got my hopes up for nothing.
Hmmmm…I don’t consider it trolling since he announced a new novel (a project), new illustrations (a project), and that the other projects are still in the pipeline.
So was there a book released last month?
GXP 8 was released in January.
GXP 8 novel
Looks like it is sold out at Amazon Japan. ^_^;
I’m sorry but if you mean that seriously, that’s crock.
What Kajishima wrote was news – when it was published last year.
The novel coming out in January was not news on February 27.
The illustrations coming out in January was not news on February 27.
The other projects are still in the pipeline – still not news.
Your post title was trolling because there was no project news in the post.
Even if you didn’t mean to troll, you did.
I like everyone appreciate your hard work with the Tenchi FAQ and the news you often bring, but put yourself in my shoes for a moment and tell me you wouldn’t be miffed if you read a title like that and then there was no actual news inside.
Hmmmm…I don’t consider it trolling since he announced a new novel (a project), new illustrations (a project), and that the other projects are still in the pipeline.
So, you knew about this news when it came out? It was all news to me. It was news to others whom have asked me to post these Kajishima updates here, when I get them.
In all seriousness, how would you have titled this post?
Well, Nobuyuki and some others talked about the novel around Comiket time and when it actually came out. About the title, I guess it wouldn’t have been a problem even with “news” in it if you had something like “Comiket news” so it’s clear it’s a past thing. Or maybe “message to fans” or “personal update” or something. “Project news” though raises expectations because it sounds like there’s a brand new project. In any case I wasn’t trying to be a pain here, I just sort of felt like I got trolled so I chimed in. Keep up the good work.
I was unaware of anything until someone graciously posted a translation for me to repost.
Anyway, I’ll try to word things better. ^_^
i want tenchi scans
When will tenchi muyo come back. Its a great show that I love so much, the characters and the whole story of how they got together meshes so well. I’ve heard from a couple friends that i t might come back in 2012 and I’m just hoppin that it will, even if it doesn’t show on tv I’ll still buy the dvds. PLEASE BRING BACK TENCHI MUYO!!!!
In Japan, Tenchi hasn’t left. The GXP novels are still going strong. Not that this helps us, mind you. ^_^;;;
There needs to be a mmo of the series…Same raciest,planets and other junk….It would be fun to explore that universe I bet.. >.>
There have been Tenchi games, but obviously no MMO.
R.I.P. Takeshi AONO, the Japanese voice of both Katsuhito and Nobuyuki. According to reports, he died yesterday.
Thanks for the alert. Very sad.
