這いよれ！ニャル子さん/Haiyore! Nyaruko-san Episode 06

Hastur leads Mahiro to where Cthuko and Nyarlko are facing off. Nyarlko tells him to go ahead, so he tells both that when this is over, he wants them to return and try his mom’s croquettes. Hastur leads Mahiro away as Cthuko and Nyarlko battle to a stalemate. Nyarlko is forced toss pictures, supposedly of her in a swimsuit, in the air, causing Cthuko to go for them and allowing Nyarlko to defeat her. Cthuko reveals what the woman told her to get her to switch sides. Meanwhile, Hastur gets Mahiro to the room where Yoriko is, and discovers the green haired woman, Luhy Jistone, is there as well. Luhy reveals that her game console contraption, Xoth 731, is being tested by Yoriko.

Nyarlko arrives with the defeated and bound Cthuko as Yoriko disappoints Luhy by stating that she’s not working for her to make her console superior to Hastur’s father’s company’s console. Luhy is shocked by this.  Nyarlko transforms to her battle suit, but before she can fight Luhy, she allows her opponent to take a phone call from her boss, where Luhy discovers she’s fired. She goes off the deep end and unleashes monsters, who are playing a video game in their mind. Yoriko defeats them all with her forks, and Cthuko reluctantly destroys the machinery. Afterward, all but Luhy head to an onsen on the beach for relaxation and fun.

Whacky comedies. I really do love them. ^_^

I should have known that the serious buildup was all fake. However, this plot twist was very funny, and made more so by the fact that the foreshadowing pointed out to Mahiro sets him off.  *lol*

There were a lot of moments that were pretty funny.  First was Nyarlko faking Cthuko with the supposed swimsuit pictures, that were really all of Mahiro.

Then, there was Nyarlko stopping her attack to allow Luhy to answer the phone.  *lol*  I just love that completely unexpected, off the wall humor.

Up next was the Cthuko-Nyarlko combo to drag Mahiro to the resort.  The fact that they worked together on this made it funnier to me.

Of course, Cthuko preventing Hastur from bathing with Mahiro at the onsen was funny.

Finally, though ecchi, Nyarlko managing to thwart both Cthuko and Hastur so she could get some with Mahiro made me laugh, more so because Mahiro apparently had no fork defense. *lol*

I made mention last episode that the series might delve into some mother-son ecchi action. It hasn’t gone there yet, but Yoriko did call out for “Hiro-kun” in a provocative manner in her sleep. ^_^;;;

Considering how Luhy is in several pieces of promo art for the light novels, I’m going to say that she’ll return to the series, but as a teacher at Mahiro’s school (following the normal Japanese patterns on these things). We’ll see if I’m right and where that goes, if so.

One thing I have to say that I liked about this episode was that since there wasn’t enough material for an entire second episode, we got the onsen-beach resort stuff as filler.  However, it is good filler, so I don’t mind.

In the end, a rather funny, fun, and generally awesome episode.
