I guess we are still a month out (or so) from the Autumn 2012 anime season, but I thought I’d take a look-see and figure out what I’m going to watch, if anything. Fortunately, there are things for me to watch and blog.
Jormungand 2 — Not sure if they are actually going to call this “Jormungand 2” or if it will simply be “Jormungand” and carry on.Β Either way, I’ve marathoned the first twelve episodes (which I hope to blog later this week), and I’m ready to go on this one.
Hayate the Combat Butler! Can’t Take My Eyes Off You — These character designs don’t do much for me, but considering my love of the franchise, I’ll take a gander at this reboot of the anime franchise, which is not based on the manga, but for which Hata-sensei apparently came up with the story concepts. So, it could be pretty good.
Minami-ke OVA — We’ll see if I get to watch this or not, but if I get a chance, I’ll take a gander.
Beyond that, I can’t say that anything really grips me too much, though for some reason, my eye keeps wandering to Robotics;Notes for some reason.Β I’m not sure why.
Anyway, that’s that. It really is a shame that I don’t have time to watch more, but that’s the way it is.
I don’t know how I feel about the new Hayate season. I am in soooo much love with the first two seasons, that this one just doesn’t seem right. All I’m going to say is that if they have different voice actors I’m not going to bother.
The first series was hit-or-miss with me, the misses coming from when the anime team departed from the original manga.
I think the seiyuu will be the same. With Hata-sensei drafting the story, this might be OK, though I’m still not crazy about the character designs.
ANB, another reminder for Level-E…
Heh!heh! Thanking you for the reminder. ^_^
Is the new Hayate anime at least reveal who Hayate will end up with?
I haven’t heard any story details so I can’t say how things would go. I rather doubt that a choice will be made since that’s not how harem titles tend to go.
I remember at least one exception: “Shuffle!” (if I remember the title correctly) – there only one girl was chosen at the end. But you are right, ANB, usually the decision is left to the viewer (in his dreams at least) or all of them are chosen (Tenchi Muyo! GXP).
In Ai Yori Aoshi, the chosen girl is revealed from the start, after which the harem builds, then gets broken down. It was sorta similar for Love Hina, but a choice was made there too. I haven’t seen Shuffle! yet even though I have the box set. ^_^;
Little Busters!!! Im a sucker for Key anime XD
I’m kinda burned out on Key after that last anime.
