AstroNerdBoy Merry Christmas 2017!
Hey everyone. I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! I hope yours was a good one. π
Me, I’m mostly spending mine working. Well, it has been that kind of year, but I’m thankful to have a job, so no complaints.
I do wish I had a bit more time to watch anime and blog. That’s kinda been a bummer this year. When I do get a bit of free time, often my mind is in such a state that I just can’t write anything. Maybe that’s just me getting older. ^_^;
That aside, hopefully I can finish up the final episode of UQ Holder anime and get that review up.
In the meantime, again, Merry Christmas! Here’s Rin and Saber (Altria) to provide some Christmas cheer. (An oldie but goodie.)

Merry Christmas. Do you think you might cover Toppu GP?
Haha! I have a stack of about 50 manga books that I’ve yet to read. The first volume of Toppu GP is in that stack. I guess after being disappointed with Ah! My Goddess not having a proper ending that I wanted to see, combined with my disappointment with how Paradise Residence went, I guess my enthusiasm factor for Toppu GP just hasn’t been there. But I do plan to read it.
Have you read it? If so, have you liked it?

In a few days it’ll be 2018 with Seven Seas releasing Captain Harlock Classic hardcovers I believe we’re finally getting the EU style captain harlock hardcover omnibi but without fancy box EU has. I’ll be so glad to have all battle angel alita books before july though as I’m guessing the movie bump will have them sellout if the movie isn’t treated like a defanged tax writeoff for fox/disney.
I’ve got the Record of Lodoss War book in my queue. I need to look into the Captain Harlock ones.
Silly random thought, resulting from a Negima reread (just in the nick of time to notice this):

Your mileage may vary on who it was to, but in my mind they were definitely allowed to marry each other. (^_~)
Haha! I did reread it a little while ago. It only took me a few months because any more, when I get to bed, it is already mega-late. π I just started rereading UQ Holder though.

Thanks and same to you! Yeah, I do need to take the time and smell the roses, but at the same time, sometimes when opportunity knocks, you’ve GOT to answer. π
In this economy, 99% of us have to spend >50 years carrying and shoveling “rose fertilizer” before we ever see a rose, let alone smell one. (^_~)
Haha! Which isn’t a problem per se, but I miss the free time AND my motivation. That’s the other thing. When I have free time, I mostly want to do nothing.
Space Battleship Yamato is also getting hardcover classic omnibus in october from seven seas which has a version of captain harlock before captain harlock series was made but got cut from tv series. I hope we get some good extras in the go nagai classic omnibi too with devilman & cutie honey.
I didn’t know Space Battleship Yamato even had a print version, but I see there was a manga adaptation done in conjunction with the anime.
I remember hearing something about the Harlock manga. I need to add that to my list.
Lots of classics coming out these days.
