Birthday Time

Hey gang! Well, it is that time of year again, leaving me one less to my last. 😅 Haha! I had the song “Pull Me Under” by Dream Theater going around in my noggin, so it just came out as I wrote.

Still, the last year has been as wild as I can ever recall in my life on a personal level. I’ve been busier than I’ve ever been in my life. My small company got swallowed by a giant company. A global pandemic hit, and some people lost their minds. My desperately needed vacation got delayed, which allowed me to have an amazing 4th of July. But then I got sick and have still not fully recovered after an entire month. (I learned I had COVID. 😅)

Nevertheless, time marches forward. Things change. And I may have to consider making hard choices this year. For example, I’m strongly considering ending playing Fate/Grand Order, except to log in and spend 10 minutes or so a day in the game. I have to try to be more focused on things that need to be done, something I’ve always struggled with. And so much more.

Anyway, blog-wise, daily posting will mostly not be a thing. But I should still be able to do several posts a week. And I’ll still stream a couple of days a week on Twitch. And I’ll post YouTube things for games I’m playing.

Finally, I had my yearly birthday feast from Five Guys Burger and Fries. And I am STUFFED to the gourd!
