Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:

Nasa and Tsukasa end up at a part, overlooking the city at night. Tsukasa has Nasa sit and produces a cupcake for him. She goes on to recount the happy day they got married. However, Tsukasa believes she made one mistake. As it turns out, Nasa’s birthday is also their wedding day. Therefor, Tsukasa decides to start a redemption arc and gives Nasa a late birthday present.

Nasa opens his present to find Tsukasa has written a small book about the 100 things she loves about her husband. She worked on this in secret, so when Nasa came home early one evening, she got flustered. Nasa reads the first entry, and Tsukasa explains her motivation for it.

As Nasa reads, he becomes emotional. Nasa’s tears of happiness surprise Tsukasa, more so because he hasn’t reached the forth entry yet.

Thoughts/Review:

We get some lovely, marital fluff in Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 222. I can’t remember Nasa’s birthday coming up before. Maybe it did. But if not, it is a contrivance to have Nasa’s birthday on the same day as Nasa and Tsukasa’s wedding.

Still, I did enjoy seeing Tsukasa do her thing. She worked really hard on her gift for Nasa. So I can appreciate Nasa’s emotional response.

But beyond the sweetness of things, there’s really not a lot to say about the chapter. I liked it, but it doesn’t inspire a lot of discussion.
