Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:

As Tsukasa and Nasa walk home, Nasa thanks his wife for saving Himari. This embarrasses Tsukasa, who rare gets thanked directly for her actions. However, it pleases Tsukasa to know Himari grew up fine. Tsukasa explains that she couldn’t save both Himari and her mother. When Nasa remarks on how Himari grew up to be cute, Tsukasa gets angry and demands ice cream to calm her down.

At Himari’s apartment, she teases Asimo with a scenario of accidentally spilling coffee on him, then having him get into the bath. She tells him all she has is water, so this fantasy won’t work. Asimo scolds Himari for taking the entrance exams lightly. He overwhelms her with how much studying is required. She counters by pointing out she changed into a cute outfit.

This stuns Asimo, who didn’t notice Himari had changed clothing. She’s not pleased that he didn’t notice. To that end, Asimo worries he failed to set an important flag. The two work on studying. However, while Himari appears focused, Asimo cannot concentrate. Eventually, she touches his hand and asks if he thinks she has a chance of getting accepted into the University of Tokyo. He takes her hand and tells her he thinks she can. To that end, she teases him about taking her hand.

Elsewhere, Tsukasa and Nasa share her ice cream.

Thoughts/Review:

I was kinda hoping we’d see a flashback in Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 248, but that didn’t happen. Instead, we just get Tsukasa remarking in general that Himari was with her mother. And that just lead to the gag of Tsukasa getting angry with Nasa for complimenting Himari. Well, I suppose there’s still time for a proper flashback.

As to Himari and Asimo, their romance is cute enough. Hata-sensei certainly has the pulse of a guy like Asimo. On one hand, he’s clueless and doesn’t notice cues sent by Himari. On the other hand, once he became aware of Himari’s new outfit, he couldn’t study. That made me chuckle for sure as I recalled my own teen years.
