AstroNerdBoy Another year has come and gone. Sadly, I won’t be having the blast I was having last year at this time, but that’s the nature of the economy. Still, I’m told there will pizza involved, with tons of cheese, sausage, and pepperoni, just the way I like it for most of us and a vegetarian pizza with extra cheese for Karmita. ^_^
Of course, what is a birthday without a present of some kind?
I only glanced at the video and did sign up for the DVD replacement program. Video issues aside, I noted this has honorifics in the subtitles. (YES!) I love the episode guide book and the coffee table book-sized container to store everything in. I’ll see if I can manage some time to sit and watch this. ^_^

I am eager to see your review of this series. With the exception of the last few episodes (ugh!) it was absolutely my favorite series of the season. Nothing has quite matched up to it since then.

As to the DVD release, seeing how the episode guide was published and sold with the set, it makes me think that for a series like “Angel Beats,” the light novel, manga, and 4-koma manga could be sold as a set as well, should it be licensed.
