Woo!Hoo! Happy birthday to me, y’all! It doesn’t seem like it was all that long ago that I was 19, living in Japan, seeing anime stuff for the first time (but certainly not being a fan), and having my mind corrupted to become a future fan. ^_~
Since I did a manga image last year, this year I’m going to do an anime one, going back to one of my favorite anime titles, Hand Maid May. I would have provided a larger image, but we have a case here of arrogant bozos who want people to pay them for scans “to control bandwidth usage.” Yeah, you still can’t legally do that and besides, there are TONS of free image hosting sites where you could put these big images. Oh, I forgot — that’s not the point, is it? ^_~
Anyway, here’s May and company.

Happy birthday “smeg head.” Or should I use that other name you were given? π
*LOL* That other name is special. One one person gets to call me that. ^_~
Happy birthday youngster
Thanks to everyone who gave me well wishes all over the place. ^_^
Sorry I missed the party; I should come here more often. Have a great year before the big 4-0!
Say, did you ever get rid of the fool who was posting offensive comments here? I caught a glimpse of those a couple times before you took them down. I imagine he’s gone away now that he can’t get anyone’s attention after you started moderating.
No, he’s still around. I can’t be bothered to read his dribble (which I’m told gets pretty verbose at times) but it gets archived and sent to those who do want to read it. Some of them find his rantings funny in a pathetic kind of way.
It takes all kinds… btw, sorry about asking about this in your birthday thread, that was inconsiderate of me even when the day is long over.
No problem. The loser rarely goes too far back with the blog, preferring to hammer whatever post is the most current with whatever dribble. Ironically enough, he just made a post a little bit ago, so I actually scanned it. I guess his latest tirade is on how I had used the term “Daiju” as a title on a forum and since he couldn’t find it as a Japanese word, naturally I’m the idiot. I laugh because the joke is on him. He knows it though, which is likely why he’s even more pissed (though “Taiju” is a more common Romaji spelling, “Daiju” is also accepted).
I guess he’s been sitting at home with his pants around his ankles looking for every post I make on any BBS or my blog. I’m glad that in a world were there are real issues to be concerned about, he’s ranting about what form of Japanese I use (on top of his normal “Kajishima is an idiot”).
Happy late birthday ANB. Send me those rant archives because I need a laugh. I’m not going calling you Daiju-sama though. π
