My Spring 2012 Anime List and the 2012 Aniblog Tourney

My Spring 2012 Anime List and the 2012 Aniblog Tourney

Hey folks!  Shockingly, there are several anime titles I’d like to watch this spring, meaning I’m going to have to be more disciplined than I usually am (easier said than done).  Plus, I’m in the 2012 Aniblog Tourney.  First, to the anime.

  1. Ozuma: This was created by MATSUMOTO Leiji, who also created classics like Space Battleship Yamato, Captain Harlock, and Galaxy Express 999.  Three episodes are already out from what I understand (out of six), but I hadn’t realized what this anime was until today.
  2. Fate/Zero S2: Having watched the first series, I have to watch the second.
  3. Haiyore! Nyaruko-san: I was fooled previously by Haiyoru! Nyaruani: Remember My Love (Craft-sensei), but I’m told this will be the actual series based on the light novels. “Nyaruko-san” really should be “Nyarlko-san,” which would be her correct Lovecraft spelling.  As such, I’m really looking forward to this.
  4. Lupin the Third: MINE Fujiko to lu Onna: Having Fujiko carry the series instead of Lupin doesn’t inspire me with confidence, but I’ll give it a look-see just the same.
  5. Lupin Ikka Seizoroi: This one is a long shot for me to watch, but if the opportunity arises to see this OVA that was bundled with Lupin III: Master File BD/DVD, I will.
  6. Space Battleship Yamato 2199 (movie): I’m going to try to watch the movie if at all possible. If not, I’ll wait for the TV series.
Haiyore! Nyaruko-san

As to the Aniblog Tourny, this year, I’m already in the second round in the Red Bracket.  For those that remember the first tournament, my Psycho Cyber Stalker of many years caused quite a drama over there.  My guys did some checking and figured out how he did some massive ballot stuffing to ruin things.  Because I felt bad for the other guy, I bowed out gracefully.  This year, I’m not bowing out, even though I figure Psycho is already outraged at my automatically being in the second round (although my mentioning him here has caused his underwear to catapult across the room and his monitor to become “coated”) and will ballot stuff again.  After all, he can’t risk my winning anything. ^_~

Anyway, when I’m up, I’ll make a note and will ask you guys to vote for me, should you think I’m the better of the two blogs in my round.

Update: When my crew learned I was mentioning Psycho in this post, they told me I just HAD to post Psycho’s latest rants from the automatic archives, which were made on the 3rd.  Apparently, he’s laying down the gauntlet, not that I expected anything less.

After nearly seven years, you now know why we call him Psycho.  *_*

I actually pity this person, who spends so much time and energy obsessed with me.  It really is sad and tragic for someone to throw their life away like this, constantly worrying about what I’m doing, saying (whether on this blog or somewhere else), etc.  Oh well.  He’s had his “iku” moment now that I’ve read something of his for the first time in well over a year.

what the hell is this Aniblog thing? CRAZY.

Best of luck with the competition! If it’s OK to ask this, why did you feel the need to fish for that jerk’s reaction with your comment at the tourney site? If you have a troll like that, I think you pretty much extended him an invitation by bringing him up over there.

Even before I’d written my post, he’d already lain down the gauntlet against me. I wanted to say something publicly now and get it on the record, since I already know what’s going to happen.

And this isn’t a “troll.” A troll is someone who is around for a short time, then moves on. Its been nearly seven years and Psycho is always stopping by here, as well as scouring the Internet for stuff I say. That’s not the actions of a troll. That’s the actions of a disturbed individual.

Oh wow, that really is sad. Does he do this on every single one of your posts? There has to be a way to get him ip banned or something…

    Good luck with the competition.

You’re kidding. He’s STILL at it? Sheesh.

Hope you get to the top in Red Bracket.
Break a Leg! Especially troll legs. 😛

Wow, just wow. “False witness”, “goddamned homo”, “Judas”, and “cultist propaganda” all in one. Have you pissed off a religious nut or what’s the deal with this guy?

Whoa, ballot stuffing? How did he manage to do that? This sounds like serious business…

    • AstroNerdBoy says:

I don’t know about “serious business,” but basically, whenever one has a poll, it records an IP address, then does not allow anyone else to vote from that IP. Having proxies and dynamic IP’s allows one to vote multiple times. There are tons of free proxy servers and websites whereby one can simply plug in the URL and vote. It takes time, but I learned long ago that this person is quite gifted with free time.

Maybe I should get you a Staples easy button that just happens to fire a low orbit plasma beam…. I’ll take a look and lend a vote.

I can appreciate that, however what I was talking about were your comments at the tourney site, not this post. I could be wrong, but when I read your tourney site comment for the post you linked, I thought that’s what the guy was responding to when he ranted about not cheating. It doesn’t really matter, from your description it seems he probably would have attacked you either way, but I still don’t see any need for baiting him. No point in giving more publicity to this loon. Hopefully he won’t succeed in disrupting the voting.
