Hata confirmed this is the spoiler text. I’m not getting much except that there are influential people at the match. It seems someone in rags has a sword of darkness. There’s something about someone in a wheelchair and a junk shop. I think the chapter will go into Touta’s inability to use magic apps.
Sorry this isn’t more useful. Hopefully ChaosProphet is able to swing by with a proper translation. In the meantime, we’ll have to wait and see. If anything else shows up, I’ll make an update.
Update #1: No translations I’m afraid (I get the feeling the 2ch spoilers were really badly worded), but MK has some lovely images up.
OK, so we see the rag person. The “sword of darkness” could be the blades apparently piercing Touta. No clue about this other guy.
Anyway, if I’m able, I’ll get the chapter review up tomorrow evening when it appears on Crunchyroll.

So, that’s the wheelchair dude I’d been seeing stuff about. I think he’ll have something to do with the magic apps. I wonder if the chapter will go into how folks from Inverse Mars (Magic World) are able to live on Earth.

Sword of darkness… like the one Tsukuyomi used? In that case, could she be on a wheelchair as a side effect? Maybe that cyborg body was just an avatar? Quite unlikely, but that just came to mind.
It is really difficult to tell. Even some folks who know Japanese had some difficulty making heads or tails of the spoiler text because of the way it is written. But, we’ll have to see when the chapter (or MK’s review) comes out.
So much for keeping quiet about the immortality eh Touta? xD
Like Akamatsu would ever skip out on the opportunity to use the fact that his cast is immortal to mutilate them horrifically.
I’m sure it is because I’m just wasted from lack of sleep and working my butt off to get my new office ready for the new furniture delivery tomorrow, but your remark made me giggle. Akamatsu-sensei certainly is taking advantage of the immortality element to go to gory seinen levels while remaining in a shounen manga magazine.

Astro: that the reverse-March people can live on Earth from the end of Negima. We see in the Epilogue Payo Te Yue face on Earth. And a few chapters before (the final battle between Negi and Eva), Rakan came to Earth is explained that the mundus-magicus has developed artificial bodies technology to allow the non-human native-mundus magicus to come to earth (and live there) and do not forget the friend of Misora (which is a sister like her) which is also a Hellas!
So that the reverse-Mars may come to Earth same date, in fact, the beginning of Negima (2003 or even 2000). ^^
Otherwise, no one recognized the devil who works at Canis Niger? I find it cool to see him again. Apparently he regularly participates in the tournament since at least 2015 ^^.
True, but what I’m interested in is how this was achieved. There were experiments in place with Cocone, but I know Al needed the magic of the World Tree to properly function. I’d like this to be explored and explained.
So that’s Koyomi and tamaki, with koyomi living a hundred years+ doing a nekomata with the forked tail (thus confirming that they are the same characters) and akamatsu having tamaki doing the whole dragon longevity thing.
Surprising thing is though is that they both look very young about 17-20.
With this little tidbit, it does put setsuna the taboo (insert funny O with a line on top) bird hanyo in the running to appear as not an old lad, but as someone with the appearance of a 30-40 year old.
Either mourning konoka or negi or both; or forcing herself to live konoka once she realized she was not aging as fast and would outlive konoka and see her die as an old women.

Or, you know, them being a part of the same species. They’re probably just refrences in all likelihood, and not the genuine article.
And yes, let’s make Setsuna live a freakishly long time just because, even though everyone in Negima stated that she would never see Asuna again because of the whole sleeping thing, indicating she has a normal lifespan. Great idea.
Her being half-youkai could make the difference, but then again, Akamatsu-sensei hasn’t really explored how long youkai live in his universe, unlike mazoku and half-mazoku like Mana.
Also exploring non uq and natural occurring ‘immortality’ which is usually defined as living beyond years that humans can comprehend or exceeding their life span while not being impaired by old age
That probably is Koyomi and Tamaki, but as to Setsuna, we’ll see if she shows up or not. Being hanyou could give her the ability to still be alive. We know mazoku and half-mazoku (Mana) are long lived, but the lives of youkai beings really hasn’t been explored greatly on how long they can live.
They’re neither though, being MM natives. You don’t need to give every magical race a freakish lifespan, and if that is in fact supposed to be them, what the hell is the point just chucking in only as references (While Negi and 3-A still gets the faceless “WHOSE THAT” treatment. What the f*ck.) is pointless, and if they do become relevant, why? What’s the point of adding swaths of the prior cast in a new setting while leaving the actual leads in a lurch? The Canis Niger member I can swallow, he’s a full blown demon, but come on. There’s a limit here.
I still say they’re merely references, if not descendants. Being apart of their own species is another nail in for me that its not actually them.
You are correct, but in terms of writers writing some sequel set a number of years in the future, sometimes freakish lifespans are used to explain why they are still around. Vulcans and Klingons come to mind. More to the point, the author wants to use said character again, so “long life span” is the crutch that explains why they are still around.
Quick note, Koyomi only had one tail, not a forked one. Probably not the same character at all. So yay for that.
Do you not know the folk tale behind the forked cat tail? (lit:nekomata) if a cat lives for a hundred years then their tail spilts in two, only the wisest of cats achieve this however, most manga-ka ignore this aspect and go straight for a demonic/youkai cat being with two tails or a forked tail.
Setsuna’s artifact Takemikazuchi is also a shinto reference to the blade and thunder kami.

Did Koyomi have two tails? Because I think I’m seeing two tails coming out of her. I suspect they are their identical daughters or granddaughters instead of themselves.

It fits quite well with the theme of uq holderand the llesson touta still has yet to learn, despite Eva telling him it frequently.
Also if someone could reply back with a link audio or video, it would be much appreciated. The episode is series 2 10th doctor, the school reunion.
