Hayate the Combat Butler Chapter 523 Review

SPOILER Summary/Synopsis:

Hayate the Combat Butler Chapter 523Chiharu praises Nagi for her latest manga storyboard and promises to help her with it.

Hayate and Maria pay Mikado a visit in his massive mansion, where they discover that he’s just suffering from a popular radio show being canceled. Hayate marvels at the massive amount of staff that serves Mikado and gets confirmation from Hayate that if Nagi inherits the Sanzenin fortune, she will get all of this, staff included.

Hayate decides to have a chat with Mikado regarding the final game for the inheritance. Mikado shows him the control room, which is filled with suits of armor. In the center of the room in a special, locked, glass case, Mikado has his will. The person who unlocks it and puts their name on the will inherits the lot.

Hayate starts to ask why Mikado doesn’t just give it to Nagi, but Mikado is interrupted when Hisui and her maid Housen show up. Housen, whom Hayate has battled in the past, introduces Hayate as Nagi’s butler, whom Hisui id’s as Himegami’s replacement.

Thoughts/Review:

Well, Hata-sensei just keeps rolling the plot out. Not surprising if he’s wanting to end this sucker sooner rather than later.

Hayate the Combat Butler Chapter 523

With Nagi getting starry-eyed over Chiharu’s praise for her manga, combined with the original conditions of the inheritance laid out by Mikado (make Nagi cry), I think she will be the one to open the path the the Royal Garden. We’ll see if I’m right or not.

I think seeing the massive number of staff serving Mikado convinced Hayate to move forward to make sure Nagi inherits the lot from Mikado. With that amount of servants, should Hayate or Maria (or both) leave Nagi’s service, she would not be at a loss for help. That’s what I think Hayate is thinking.

It is a shame that we never got to hear the reason that Mikado made getting the Sanzenin inheritance a contest rather than just giving it all to Nagi. I hope we learn that explanation before the manga ends.

Finally, we see the return of HOUSEN Yozora and the proper introduction of HATSUSHIBA Hisui. As I recall things, Yozora was quite powerful, even able to fend off an attack from Isumi. We know almost nothing about Hisui, so I’m looking forward to seeing where Hata-sensei takes all of this.

In the end, Hayate the Combat Butler chapter 523 is pretty interesting, pushing forward the main plot as well as Nagi’s manga story. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Even I feel that Nagi will be the candidate to open the path to rg. But I wonder how will Nagi find out the truth.

I think Mikado has made all these complicated conditions for inheritance because he feels there will be revolt from other heirs to the Sanzenin fortune if he gives it to Nagi right away. They will not except that. I am sure Mikado wants Nagi to win though.

      By accident. 😉

I am sure Mikado wants Nagi to win though.

That’s how the new chapter comes across.

@astro I wanted to thank you for the a certain scientific railgun manga recommendation. excellent suggestion I’ve had a really difficult time attempting to find something I think I would like. my favorite manga is negima and I’m very reluctant to approach anything new that doesn’t interest me in a close proximity to negima.

this specific blog probably isn’t the proper place for this; apologies, but would you be so kind as to offer me any more suggestions?! ._.

Hmmmm…difficult to say since the number of manga I read is actually pretty small. Do you like stories like Fairy Tail?
