Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:

Nasa enters the bathhouse and shows Tsukasa his driver’s license. Tsukasa and Kaname congratulate him. Kaname wants to know if he’ll buy a car. Nasa wants to, but he needs to get a parking space first. With that out of the way, Nasa proposes to rent a car to take Tsukasa out on a date.

Nasa and Tsukasa go to rent a car. However, Nasa’s own nervousness over driving, having only driven one previous time, is making Tsukasa nervous. She encourages him and after a false start, they hit the road. Tsukasa attempts to speak to Nasa as he’s driving, but he’s so focused on what he’s doing, he initially can’t hear her.

Tsukasa decides to put on some music, but the panicked Nasa says it will distract him from his driving. She then asks where they are going. He states that he wants to go to a spot near Toyosu to see the ocean. But he’s unable to look at the GPS map. As such, Tsukasa offers to give him the directions, but he can’t listen to her and concentrate on his driving.

That night, they finally make it to a parking lot near the ocean. Tsukasa gives her exhausted husband a beverage. She tells him she’s happy that he got a license for her. The two enjoy the night sea view. However, Nasa is worried about driving at night to get home.

Thoughts/Review:

We get more fluff in Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 167, but for those who remember their initial driving experiences, I’m guessing this will bring a smile to your face.

Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 167

Serious Driving

I recall my early days of driving. Sometimes, just going the speed limit seemed insanely fast to me. And if folks were yacking (in Driver’s Ed, there were three in the back seat, the teacher in the front passenger’s seat, and the driver), it could be quite distracting. So even though Nasa only had his wife as a passenger, I still understood his feelings in Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 167.

Of course, driving at night is even scarier when you are a new driver. While I’m not scared to drive at night, it isn’t my favorite thing to do, more so if it has been snowing. 😅

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

Not a lot to say about Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 167. Fluff chapters are always difficult to discuss. Nevertheless, I was amused by the chapter as I reflected on my own, new driver experiences.
