Happy Thanksgiving 2023!

Hey everyone! For those of us in America who celebrate, I would like to wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving for 2023! This is the first year in ages where I’m celebrating with family. For a start, I’m living with my little brother and sister-in law while my new home is constructed. Since they are hosting a massive Thanksgiving event, it makes it easy for me to attend. Further, the big work project I had for this week got punted, so there’s that.

I really am thankful this year. While I did lose my sister to cancer, I am still thankful for the years God allowed us to have with her. Further, my sister’s illness, combined with my parent’s getting up there in years, finally got me out of the cesspool state I was living in to move back to “Fortress South”. 😂 So I’m thankful for that. And I’m thankful that so far, everything has gone quite well in terms of the move down, my new home’s construction, and the fact that my old place is now under contract. Lord willing, next year will be a good one…mostly. 😅

Anyway, it is almost time to eat. I may update this with food pics, depending on whether or not I remember to take any. But that aside, “Happy Thanksgiving!” to you all!
