For the last year (roughly), I’ve been taking Japanese classes in Arvada. One of my classmates, Anne-san, had been trying to get into the JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) program for a while and while we were on a break, she was accepted. Saturday was her last day of classes as she takes some time off to see family and friends before spending at least a year in Japan to teach English. While her presence will be missed in class, I am very happy for Anne and hope that she has a good time both in teaching Japanese students proper English and in the Japanese culture. If she makes it into the Tokyo area, I may have to send her some funds to pick me up a CD. *lol*
Anyway Anne, good luck in Japan. If I manage to get over there while you are still in country, I’ll have to look you up. ^_^ In the meantime, I’ll read your blog to see how you are doing.
