Ah! My Goddess Ch. 237 *SPOILERS*

Ah! My Goddess Manga/Oh My Goddess! Manga
ああっ女神さまっVolume 38 Chapter 237

Summary/Synopsis: Chrono, Belldandy, and Keiichi are looking for the final fragment when Urd and Skuld fly up on the broom to report they’ve found it and lead the group back to the location — their temple residence. The meowing from inside means that Welsper has the final fragment. This is bad news for Chrono, but good news for Urd who begins to tease Chrono about her fear of cats. This comes to a rapid end when Belldandy scowls at Urd.

Chrono recounts how she became afraid of cats when as a child, she played with a cat using a cat toy. It ends up on Chrono’s head and the cat attacks the toy on her head. Thus, Chrono has a fear of cats. Since they need a way to extract the fragment and Chrono’s fear is a problem, Keiichi (upon hearing what needs to be done) suggests using rhythm. To illustrate the point, he throws a punch at Chrono. She instinctively reacts and dodges the punch before slamming Keiichi to the ground (Keiichi protected from harm by Belldandy sending Holybell to protect Keiichi’s head). Chrono is on top of Keiichi about to tear him apart until Belldandy stops her.

After bowing in apology to Keiichi, Belldandy understands what Keiichi meant by rhythm in that Chrono’s rhythm can be used to interact with the rhythm of the program which is causing Welsper to dance.

Thoughts/Review: There’s some humor here because lets face it, it is funny seeing a cat, specifically Welsper, dancing on his hind legs. I also chuckled when Belldandy put an end to Urd’s teasing Chrono with a scowl.

Beyond that, the trials of Chrono just doesn’t grip me. I don’t have a problem with Chrono as such per se but I just don’t care.

And yet I’ll keep reading…^_~
