    the wait is finaly over

    i hope there is more

  2. Boo!? says:

Is this really the most interesting part of the chapter? (for someone to take a picture of it instead of any other page…)

  3. Looks like the discussion between Eva, Al, and Eishun is going to revolve around Negi, Nagi, and Arika. Of course, that’s the last page of this chapter, so it won’t get to that until next chapter.

  4. AstroNerdBoy says:

@Boo — the thing about the different Japanese posters of spoilers is that most of them avoid huge spoilers. There’s the one person who tends to snap half of the manga to give everyone a general idea of everything that will happen but other spoiler posters snap something that catches their interest without giving away the whole boat. ^_~

@Shadow — Nagi must have told Al something that he didn’t tell anyone else and now Al feels the time is right to tell Eva and Eishun. Had Takahata been on Earth, I’m guessing he would have been included as well.

Interesting. So just scanning over the Japanese, (not using my dictionary or looking too closely at it), it looks like Al and Eishun are confirming that the MM senators were behind the attack on Negi’s village, and were after Negi. *Not* because he was Nagi’s son, but because he was Arika’s son: an important distinction there.

Of course Eva thinks the whole thing is boring. XD

  6. Undying says:

Nice, more Eva love. I want to thank Ken for giving us more Eva. Now, I wish for more Eva.

After having contemplating for awhile, I wonder if all these tea party and aristocratic lifestyle is some sort of an allusion to Ken’s lifestyle. The residence under Library Island is classy, elegant, and like high class fantasy. If so, Ken is so enviable.

    @cynicalicious

“…it looks like Al and Eishun are confirming that the MM senators were behind the attack on Negi’s village, and were after Negi. *Not* because he was Nagi’s son, but because he was Arika’s son: an important distinction there.”

I can see thousands of fans with their theories churning already.

Thank you again for the spoilers, AstroNerdBoy.

A picture of the last page, eh…? I don’t think the chapter is all about earth, but, in any case, let’s wait and see, ya?

  8. Zefyris says:

Evangeline : I see… So those who attacked negi’s village were mainly under the influence of the MM Senate….
    So stupid…
    (aside) human are…(?)
    Albireo : fufu… I knew you’ll say that.
chachamaru: But why… Even with the upper organization of the mahora campus, they attacked the village of the son of the hero Nagi as they please…
    Chachazero: (??)
Eishun: Well, chachamaru kun, that’s because…
    aside (??)
Evangeline: it’s like this, chachamaru. It means that, for a part of the people of that country, negi isn’t the son of the hero Nagi, but rather the problem was that he’s the son of the Queen of catastrophes Arika.
    Evangeline: Isn’t it?
    Albireo: yes, bingo! in addition…

    other pic:
    Chisame: wh..
    Asakura: what is this?
    Nodoka: sen…sei…

  9. AstroNerdBoy says:

If the purpose is to kill the son of Arika, then they fail because (1) why not attack him earlier, say when he was born and (2) having failed the first time, why not take him out later? Instead, they attempt once, fail, then don’t try again.

  10. Zefyris says:

    “Why not earlier?”
I think negi’s birth was really well hidden. look, when negi decided to go in the magical world, fate didn’t know he was coming. And we all know how good is fate when it comes to get informations.

Looks like there are higher ups who are hiding his movement and locations.
And after this, he lived near the magical school in Whales, so he was somewhat protected by them. Attacking a village was one thing, attacking a place with a lot of political authority is something else.
And people would have started to make a link between the two too: When negi was in the village the village was attacked, and when negi was near the school that place was also attacked…

Also maybe because it’s completely outside of their own jurisdiction? like for example, they have no authority on the old world, so if they move too much with demons army and stuff, it will become a serious diplomatic problem for them?
If you look at what I translated, it seems like chachamaru is saying something about this.

    in other words:
    negi is well hidden
MM senate has difficulty to reach him since he was in the old world
and after the first failed attempt, trying again to kill him would have been really difficult. Not only because he was closer to people with high authority in the old world, but also because the security around him was probably higher.

It may also be because not everyone in the senate agree, so they may have problems to act, depending on how many senators agree about this?

  11. arimareiji says:

Yow. Demon-form Negi? Now that’s what I’d call an intriguing spoiler.

  12. ZeroUrashima says:

    @Zephyris

Actually, you got Chachamaru’s line kinda wrong. She says that the MM senate is the higher organization of Mahora Gakuen (“この魔帆良学園の上部組織でもあるMM元老院が[…]”).

    It’s more like:
Chachamaru: But why…? Why would the MM Senate, which is also the higher organization of Mahora Gakuen, attack the village where the hero Nagi’s son lived?

She was just trying to point out the fact that Nagi’s son being attack was weird and that Mahora Gakuen which is supposed to be on the same side doesn’t do anything to him IMO. That explains why the conversation went towards Eva’s answer to her question that it is only a part of the country and Negi being Arika’s son that was the problem.

I think the reason why Negi was attacked is exactly the reason why Godel wants him. His lineage that might give birth to someone with the Magic Canceller ability that might be used to end the magic world in the future. Well, that is if it was plotted by someone that actually cares for the MW. Politicians in manga tends to like to get rid of risk factors before they actually turn into risks. If they knew what it could do 20 years ago, I don’t think they’ll want such an ability around any longer.

By this theory, I think Asuna would also be a target but given that Fate didn’t seem to know Asuna had the Magic cancel ability back in Kyoto, I don’t think the senate knew neither back then. In the Mahora Festival arc too, the “Magic Students” didn’t seem to know of her ability. That and the fact that she was in Mahora and had Takamichi with her making her next to untouchable. Don’t think I might be right though, most of my guesses are usually off >_> They are guesses afterall <_<

  13. Zefyris says:

You’re right… And this isn’t the only mistake I made when I read this sentence, too. So it’s not “kinda wrong”, it’s more like “completely wrong” :p.

So yes, like you said, it’s something like this :

“But why… the MM senate, which is also the higher organization of the mahora campus , attacked the village where the son of the former hero nagi lived…”

    Thanks for pointing this out.
Interesting. The MM senate has far more influence over the old world than I thought…

  14. hmm gonna get interesting finally these waits are annoying i could have waited with these series and come here a year later than I wouldn’t need to wait and now Im so deep in this that I need to know how will this finish before proceding anywhere else lol XD:)

  15. wuzzup with the Spoilers recently ??
    there’s still nothing ??

  16. AstroNerdBoy says:

Nope — nothing. The only images posted have been the ad for the audio drama and a couple of images regarding a female character contest of which Eva is one of the four (along with Sakura from “Cardcaptor Sakura,” Maria from “Hayate the Combat Butler,” and Jade Stern from “Rozen Maiden.”

  17. well does that mean the manga is over since the Spoilers weren’t revealed and it was the best part too.

  18. AstroNerdBoy says:

No, the manga isn’t over. Someone did post some text which I believe is supposed to be from chapter 266. However, no credence is given to that since there have been plenty of posters before who’ve claimed to have spoiler information and it turned out to be completely made up.
