Crazy Japanese Commute (Or How Many Japanese Can Be Crammed Into A Train) When I lived in Japan, I never went out and about during the morning or evening commute times simply because there is NO way I would ever put up with this (and yes, I heard stories about this kind of crowding way

Happy New Year! (Minami-ke Style)
Happy New Year!!! It is 2009 and time to start another new year, which will see a number of new series, including Minami-ke: Okaeri. So I thought I’d run through a list of series I’ll be blogging this year. Minami-ke Okaeri — I’m just hoping that this 3rd series will return to the goodness of
It Has Been Two Years!
It Has Been Two Years! Today marks the 2-year anniversary of my anime blog starting. So to celebrate, here’s a Belldandy poster (~1200×1600) from Ah! FUNimation continues to grab Geneon titles by scoring Gad Guard. Gad Guard? Never heard of it and what little I’ve seen from the imagery, it isn’t grabbing me either. Geneon had completely released the series so it has been dubbed and subbed. The only interesting thing about this announcement for me is that FUNimation’s Gad
FUNimation Has "Ikki Tousen"
As announced by FUNimation, they now officially have the very ecchi high school fighting anime Ikki Tousen (FUNimation’s official Ikki Tousen site). Geneon previously had the title and while FUNimation has distributed stuff for Geneon before, that’s not the case here. Instead, FUNimation has the Geneon portion of the license, meaning Geneon is out of
